It may take a long bumpy, curvy road to find your ending place, but it’ll be worth it.
Taylor’s been trying to out run her past but can’t escape the hellish nightmares that plaque her from all those years ago. That one night stole her innocence, changing the outcome of her future. Her life will never be the same again. Especially with her over bearing-protective brother.
All grown up, Taylor wants a chance at a normal life. To experience college, make her own decisions and face whatever consequences it may bring.
Sin being one of those.
Sin. Mr. Man-whore. #1 bad boy on campus. Always a different girl. No repeats.
They meet during a weekly party thrown by Sin & his roommates.
She propositions him to take what she’s so desperately determined to get rid of.
Rejection makes the determination grow.
Flaunting what another person wants can bring out different sides to a person.
Meaning Sin. He doesn’t share, becomes jealous and jumps to his own conclusions.
He has his reasons for being the way he is.
However an undeniable connection sparks between the two leading to yet another proposition.
“No feelings, just sex, and when it ends we walk away.”
The sex scenes are insanely HOT & passionate. No holds bard.
Unable to keep her hands off the bad boy, she’s lost to any other man.
Both want more than one night. With exclusivity.
“Sometimes there is more to a person than what’s written on paper “
Taylor becomes the one and only to tame this sexy, tatted bad boy.
During this, a series of incidents happen to Taylor causing her to relieve her horrific past.
Both with pasts & secrets which always have a way of surfacing. And when it does, everything comes to a screeching halt.

Taylor Price was excited about college, she was out from under the thumb of her protective brother and had a fresh start without anyone knowing about her past. Sin Carter is a man who is a one and done, he doesn't do repeat performances with anyone, that is until he meets Taylor Price.

Taylor wants Sin to be her first one night stand, Sin doesn't believe he is good enough but he accepts her request. He can't get her out of his mind, so he proposes exclusivity, but no relationship. Taylor agrees but is confused by Sin, he is hot and cold but she doesn't want to let him go. When a stalker amps up his game to get to Taylor, Sin finds himself fighting himself on what he wants to be with Taylor. They both have pasts but can they push their fears aside to have a future?

Exceptional. I liked Sin, he was broody and I think very vulnerable where Taylor is concerned. Taylor was a strong young woman I think at sometimes naive about what she wants to do, as if she wont have the chance to do it again. Have some hankies handy.

The book was ok. The characters could have used more depth and maturity. The plot line could have been more figured out. With these issues, I would have given it a 4 star rating. But ...

I liked the beginning but [spoiler] I HATE to read about the main characters sleeping with other people. I REALLY LOATHE to read about one of the main characters witnessing it. WHY??? Why do NA authors think your readers want to read this unromantic crap?

If this is how our society works in the 21st century then we are doomed. Men and woman need to have more respect for themselves. Now, I'm going to have another conversation with my teenager about this issue. I should have known better then to waste my time and money on another NA book.

If not for this issue, the book would have been 4 stars. It had other issues I could have, and often do, overlook.

This was a full rich story with lots of ups and downs. I enjoyed every minute of this read. The villain of the story was so unexpected. I loved the thriller twist with masterful storytelling. It was a pleasure to read this book. Kudos to the author!

I really enjoyed this book. While it had some angst in it, it wasn't too much. The characters were enjoyable,Slater ,Jordan,Connor and Matthew were well rounded out as well. There were numerous errors with grammar, but I was able to get past that. For an interesting and enjoyable read, I would recommend this book.

It had potential but I really didn't feel like I knew much about either of the characters other than they were both damaged. There's really no reason that she loved him other than that they were sleeping together. Honestly other than that there wasn't much time they actually spent together at all. It had potential but it's not a book I would come back to again and again.

It was pretty decently written. But I did have some issues. First of all, why not more of Sin's POV. It was just enough to tease. It was just a few chapters tossed in there. Frankly I would have liked more from the beginning if for nothing else to get the hell out of Taylor's head. The basic bones of the story had promise, but I'm afraid that execution just didn't pull it all the way off. Entirely too much push and pull and nearly zero dialogue. Way too much inner monologue with a heroine who drove me freaking nuts. Serious unnecessary whiplash that I felt was designed to drag it out. I saw many different routes this could have gone without all the unnecessary catch and release scenarios that still would have made this book good. I didn't understand at all how these two want to be together exclusively for sex to her falling in love just to push him away time and time and time again. All I felt was hormones. There were some on the edge of seat moments. There were some sweet moments. There were some hot moments. But these good moments were few and far between because of all the other drama going on that led to one "breakup" after another until I began to get bored out of my mind. Therefore I started skimming because I was ready for it to just end. And just to say, it's never good when readers would rather skim for the good parts because there just isn't enough.
