Raven Monroe and Dallas Kincaid's journey to love continues in PART 2 as Raven returns to Gin River, a small, Colorado mountain town, to marry Dallas.
But a family crisis presents circumstances no one could have foreseen.
To make matters worse, Dallas’ old lover, Hope Leland, returns with a “surprise” of her own that just may be the last straw for Raven.
Will family drama be too overwhelming for Raven and Dallas’ relationship?
Will Hope Leland’s announcement ultimately drive Raven from Dallas’ life forever?
Or will their love overcome all obstacles and give them both the one thing they’ve been searching for all of their lives?
SAMPLE FROM CHAPTER 1:
It was November, early evening. Raven was relaxing on the enclosed porch of her and Dallas’ cabin in Gin River, Colorado. The wedding planning binder was in her lap and their seven month old son, Dane, was propped up in the cradle next to her. Raven looked around at the pretty land and exhaled. She reflected on the summer before last, when she'd first arrived in Gin River.
She had been in town for her friend Amanda’s wedding. Butterflies flitted around in her stomach as she remembered when she first laid eyes on Dallas Kincaid, who was now her fiancé. He’d almost run into her rental car with his horse that morning. Sparks flew as she gave the handsome stranger a piece of her mind almost two and a half years ago in the service station parking lot. Though they'd gotten off on the wrong foot, it seemed they were destined to meet again ...
SAMPLE FROM CHAPTER 2:
Dallas looked at her with love in his eyes.
Raven knew he needed her body, just as she needed his. She laid back on the bed as he cradled her. His mouth claimed each of her swelling breasts as he cupped them with his rigid hands.
Raven let out a small cry as her eyes landed on the baby monitor on the night stand next to the bed.
Good, all’s quiet, she thought as she parted her thighs to Dallas’ gentle probing.
“I love your body,” he breathed in a husky tone, sliding his muscular frame, tight from mountain work, down between her legs.
As his fingers slid over her wetness, massing in a way that sent spirals of pleasure throughout her body, his dark eyes locked with hers. The tree between his legs stiffened even more as he watched Raven’s naked body writhe, fighting to muffle cries of ecstasy trying to escape her body. Feeling her softness, her heat, hearing her whimpers, his erection turned to steel.
He needed her; but not yet. Dallas got the most pleasure out of pleasing his Raven in this way.
Without warning, he dragged his mouth over the swollen flesh between her legs, lingering as he swirled and dipped his tongue in and out of her sweet nectar ...
Author’s Note: “Loving a Country Man” was initially written as a standalone book. However, readers wanted more of Raven Monroe and Dallas Kincaid, so Part 2 of this love story was penned.
