The problem I've had with this sunscreen is that the zinc oxide particles are larger than in other products, which is why this is supposed to be safer (doesn't get absorbed into the body as easily), but the larger particles are visible. The result is that this isn't much different than using the old fashioned zinc oxide which was a greasy solid white coating that blocked the sun, but looked silly. Loving Naturals has a tan tint to it but when applied it's still basically white. I can deal with the white when I'm not going to be seen by others, but because this is a surface sunscreen that is greasy, any sweat on the face becomes very itchy and when you scratch, or just touch a covered area, the sunscreen is rubbed off which leaves little or no protection.
I really wanted to like this product but for me it is only of limited value. Because I do believe that it is healthier I will use it when working on my property where no one can see me, but I will have to keep a mirror nearby so I can check periodically to be sure none of it has rubbed off.
I feel great using this after trying dozens of "commercial" products that either gave her a rash from head to toe or had such a long list of unpronounceables that I could hardly feel comfortable applying this to my baby's largest organ (her skin!).
I received a email from them asking me to give it a 4 or 5 star. That's how this product got so many fake 5 and 4 star reviews. I will never but it again and don't recommend it.

We used this all last summe and never once got burned, and I am really bad about re-applying. It's a little greasy, but not white.Published on April 15, 2014 by my2boys
company put a different label on the product (the one I ordered) & sent me the wrong product. It was super greasy, smelled bad & I had to wash it off over a half hour.Published on May 22, 2013 by Christine1026

This is not our favorite Non-nano zinc oxide sunscreen. During application this feels very gritty and neither myself nor my almost 3 year old daughter like it. Read morePublished on June 21, 2012 by Kara Boo
This is a little liquid-y, but it is not the usual white stuff and it rubs in very well, although it does seem to require more product than others. Read morePublished on May 2, 2012 by TsGsMama
