It is extremely important to me when buying a bowl for my dogs that the bowls be bacteria resistant. And Loving Pets stainless steel bowls are perfect for my dogs. These bowls resist bacteria because they don't scratch easily like plastic bowls. Bowls with scratches make very hospitable breeding grounds for a pink pigmented slimy bacteria known as Serratia marcescens that will grow in any moist location where phosphorous containing materials or fatty substances accumulate, and in this case your pet's water bowl where food residues enter as your pet drinks. Serratia marcescens is an opportunistic pathogen most dangerous to pets that are immunocompromised.
Serratia marcescens cannot survive in chlorinated drinking water, but once tap water is left standing in an open container (like your pet's water bowl) for as little as 30 minutes, the chlorine dissipates into the atmosphere and is gone. So provide your pets with fresh water frequently and clean their bowls daily using care to avoid scratching them and making them more susceptible to this bacteria. And as a rule, if you wouldn't drink it or drink out of it, then your pet shouldn't be either.Read more ›
This bowl will dent if you toss it around or have a big dog bang it around.

This bowl is priced right. It is not the better bowls at a good price. It is a cheaper bowl at a fair price. Also the stickers are really hard to remove.Published 1 month ago by Dr D
This does well in the dishwasher. Lightweight. Affordable. No rusting. Just what we needed for a reasonable price.Published 11 months ago by Jancee
Really cheap but you get what you pay for. They work for now but tarnish easily. I will have to replace them very soon. Lesson learned, pay more get a better product.Published 16 months ago by Kelly C.
These are thin, but work well in our homemade raised bowl holders. If used on the floor, you might want something heavier so it doesn't get pushed around as much.Published 17 months ago by Coolaid
