As much as I enjoyed the story there were a couple of aspects that I found a bit jarring - the kink and the conflict at the end.
There is a bit of impact play and mild dominance. It was unexpected and occurred for the first time in their second sexual encounter without any real discussion. It was a lot of trust to give to someone when Gage literally knew Nikola for just a few days and it was a type of play that Gage had never engaged in before.
The story was also felt very long. After Gage and Nikola decided to make a go of it, there was another conflict that happens with Gage's cousin. That whole storyline seemed contrived and unrealistic. The resolution even more so. I am not even sure what factor it played in the story as a whole or in furthering the plot. If that whole section had been edited out the story would have had the exact same outcome.
Lastly, I can't believe I am saying this...but the sex scenes were also very long. Most of them I just skimmed through.
That aside, this story is pure instalove, which is usually not my cuppa but works for some reason in this book. The author does a good job fleshing out each character, their personalities (even though they did things that seemed to counter that) and made their love story believable. Hana really saved the day on more than one occasion, was wise beyond her years and was, in my opinion, the catalyst that got these boys to get together.
All in all - about a 3.5 rounded up a bit. I appreciated the all in kind of love between the two MCs, their willingness to make things work, I felt good when I finished reading it and the lovely Hana.
Sometimes it made me question how it would prolong and every time it turned out so right.
When I had to give a very short description it would be: complete - - power exchange - surprising - but I will give so much more...
Gage has to travel to Sarajevo for business. This time for minimal a month. Lucas his partner for over five years is complete done with the situation.....Gage always traveling.... Lucas has said it several times only now he is serious....he is leaving and now for real.
In Sarajevo Gage meets Bosnier Nikola who will be his chauffeur and guide for the next month.
The attraction is instant and full on. They have a relation with extremes.
They love, they argue, they fight, they are both power tops, they have many flaws and all are so lovable and they grow as person and....with their interactions.
It felt unbelievably real for me, my sensors were 'on'....feelings at alert. Someway this story was distinctly different. The feelings were else...difficult to describe but it was absolute good.
Nikola's little daughter has a wonderful part in this story. Also both exes are of importance and at last there is family...
When Nikola reveals an important part of his life it's heartbreaking and very emotional....tears and goosebumps...
Two wonderful engaging men, a powerful part in this story is dominant Nikola in the bedroom...Gage doesn't know what's happening to him...
Catching story, written in an absorbing and interesting way with a distinct scenery.
Recommend and a shout out for this one!

Nikola lives in Sarajevo and works for his uncles business looking after clients from overseas, tending to their every needs.
Gage arrives in Sarajevo a bit heartbroken for Lucas as he couldn't give him the love he so desperately needs, its the best to move on. At the airport his eyes find and lock onto the most gorgeous man he's ever seen and he's going to be his chaperone! Let the flirting begin.
After all the flirting Gage thinks he could be with Nikola but when Nikola gets a phone call about Hana he leaves Gage to run to her. WTF has Nikola got a wife? Instead of being dropped back at his hotel Gage tags along with Nikola and is surprised and somewhat relieved that Hana is in fact his 5 year old daughter. She's a very forward little girl saying things that make both men blush. Gage and Hana hit it off and bond quickly with Hana inviting Gage to her birthday party.
At his uncles party Nikola spends time with Sabine, kissing and talking all night ignoring Gage. Gage is furious and leaves with a man he's been talking too only to be stopped by Nikola. They have a massive argument and Gage tells Nikola to leave him alone and he wants another chaperone. He didn't tell Nikola that he couldn't text him, so that's what he does telling him all about his life, Sabine and Hana but gets no response from Gage.
Gage arrives at Hana's birthday which makes her squeel in delight but gets a frosty reception from Nikola's mum and Sabine. He needs to talk to Nikola to sort things out. As Gage falls more and more in love with Hana he realises he's falling in love, for the first time, with Nikola!
With the business trip coming to an end can Gage leave the 2 people he loves the most behind or will Nikola and Hana come home and move in with him?.
There are some good twist at the end of the book but they get their HEA!
