This, primarily, is Jase and Taylor's story but you will see different characters from all three of Kelly's series, Wanted, Broken, and Love Wanted in Texas., intermixed into the plot lines.
I'm not even sure I could do this book, let alone the series, justice. There are just not enough words to explain how much I loved this book, how much I loved the ending, and how sad I am that it is all over. For real.
All these characters...they have been with me since day 1 in Wanted, and I have felt like they were my own friends, and family, going through the things they all went through. I have laughed, cried, gotten angry, and felt swooned by sweet & sexy boys.
If you want a book to read that will make you feel all the feels...Loving You is it. If this is your first introduction to Kel, and the incredible way she makes you feel like you really are a part of the gang, I recommend that you start at the very beginning with Wanted and end with Loving You.
You will not be disappointed. Sad because it's over, probably, but incredibly thankful that you were one of the lucky ones that were along for the ride!
Standalone though part of 2 larger series. (Concludes the Broken and Wanted Series)
Told from both POVs.
Special epilogue a from each of the men from the first book in each series
I have read every book from both of these series. I loved that at the end Kelly Elliot found a way to merge the two families in the perfect "small world" type of way.
Taylor was the last of the girls to find love. She was the innocent one of the group. Still a virgin waiting for the right guy.
Jase didn't think he was good enough for Taylor so he kept trying to push her away. The problem was he loved her so much he couldn't ever stop pulling her back each time.
In Paris they finally come together but all too soon Jase gets scared again and tells Taylor things won't work out. She took it pretty hard considering she has just given him her virginity.
Broken Taylor goes home and tries to prove to herself she doesn't need Jase. I don't want to give anything away but decisions are made that cause each of them pain.
Finally they move past everything that has happened and find love... But just as things are finally looking up the unthinkable happens. Again not giving anything away but Taylor has to try to find a way to live without Jase... Or does she.
The epilogues sat the end were awesome to read too. It is hard to think of Gunner and Layton being in their 50s but I guess for all their kids to have kids they have to grow up too. Lol.
I went through a lot of emotions while reading Loving You. It had me swooning, smiling, laughing, crying, and wanting to punch people in the face. Even though, I hate that the series has ended, Kelly wrote an amazing ending and it will make all the readers out there smile when you finish it. Jase and Taylor's love story like all of the characters went through a number of ups and downs but in the end love made them stronger and their forever love is how they got through any situation that they went through. Truly, truly amazing!
Out of all my favorites and out of all of kelly elliot
she combined the 2 best family's into 1 big happy family
I could go on and on how special all these books were
It's a shame it's the last in the series
But....I can always read them again, and um I might have read these books once or twice or 10 times !!!
I cred like a baby at the end..just prepare you self
As always Kelly provided an excellent story that was perfectly paced to keep her read involved the entire time. This was primarily Taylor and Jase's story but as with the other books in these series you do have snippets from the other characters as well. I absolutely loved how Kelly tied the 3 book series together and provided her readers with a final ending for these stories. The bonus epilogues were the icing on already amazing cake.
Kelly thank you for sharing these characters with us and you are truly amazing to be able to remember all of those characters with the depth you do. Amazing!!!
