About the Author
Jeffrey Dunham received his M.D. from Harvard Medical School, his Ph.D from MIT, and is certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine. He is medical director of BioFit Medical Group and has helped thousands of people lose weight using this unique program. He lives in Palm Springs, California.
Martha Murphy developed the recipes in this book with Dr. Dunham and is an award-winning health and food writer. She lives in Rhode Island.

The book includes many recipes and meal plans that are all very easy to make and do not require a lot of time in the kitchen. And with the app, you can check how any food you want to eat fits into the diet or not.
I feel like this is an approach to eating that I can easily maintain for the rest of my life and not feel like I'm depriving myself of the foods I love. Great job, Dr. Jeffrey Dunham!
I am losing weight on this diet with no sense of deprivation or boredom. The only reason the book is 4 stars, rather than 5, is that in my opinion the book is not stand alone and the inability of persons without smart phones to download the App would seriously restrict its usefulness to them.
Over the years I have read and followed many plans. From early on I have been involved in bodybuilding, martial arts, personal training, running, etc... This book should honestly be required reading in elementary school and will shave years off of chasing fad diets!
I have gone as far as blood type testing in efforts to dial it all in. Dr. Dunham has given the missing links and made it easy to understand.
After spending years avoiding the obvious flour and sugar (a given for anyone) this book has allowed me to bring many foods back into my diet.
All of this backed by real studies minus "the results not typical headline hidden in the type!"
Combine this book with the free low glycal app and its almost fool proof.
Based on my own healthy lifestyle and muscular build I have friends and colleagues normally asking what I eat and how to do it, now I just refer them to this book... it doesn't really matter what diet you follow, the information gathered from this book will bring it all together! One closing thought, I travel for a living and this book and app have actually made it easier to eat! I have added so many more foods into my diet, the glycal app is damn near a 24/7 dietician for free! Thanks Dr. Dunham keep up the great work!
