Just a note: Initially, the fit was too snug, but after realizing that the "hook-and-loop" strap attachment tabs on the back of the case were snugged up a big too much when purchased I merely relaxed the tension a bit and gained just enough room to easily slide the Sony into and out of this bag with ease. It is now as if custom made for my Sony NEX-3N!
By trial and error I found this at BestBuy
Now with this case I can have a DSLR quality camera with a fixed wide aperture lens in a tiny package to carry around at all times. Perfect.
If you want to use the kit zoom lens, use this bag:
MegaGear (Ever Ready) Protective Leather Camera Case, Bag for Canon Eos M (Black)
I also use it for a Canon g15 and even for a Samsung Galaxy camera. It surely is big for these items, but it provides great protection and is malleable and yields, hugging the camera when thrown with other items into a bag. But, certainly, it is not a perfect fit as for the Canon EOS-M with 20 mm lens.
Well as the title says, my NEX 5T fits perfectly in the Dashpoint 20 .... my NEX 5T is configured with the kit lens (16-50mm), B+W UV filter, and the stock lens cap ... It also has the Black Rapid Stealth and Black Rapid wrist strap attached .... again, it fits perfectly in the case .... it's snug ... It won't drop in via gravity; you have to push it in .... but it glides right in with little resistance ....
Can you get anything else in the bag? .... hard to believe but two batteries and a SD card will fit ... the SD card fits into a little pocket in the bag cover .... wrap the batteries in a micro cloth so they don't scratch your camera and they will fit in the void created between the camera grip and lens .... NOTHING else is going to fit in the case ... I have the Black Rapid wrist strap hanging outside when zipping up the bag cover and the strap makes a perfect carry handle ....
You will have a bit more room if you use the 16 or 20mm prime lenses on your NEX .... and the NEX with the 210mm zoom will of course not fit at all ..... if I took the Black Rapid Stealth and strap off my camera, the camera with kit flash would fit into the case .....
The bag is of Lowepro quality, but material is very slippery .... I personally would not trust the little nylon loops on the side of the case for a shoulder or neck strap because they are attached only by the stitching .... so what a great purchase that Black Rapid wrist strap has become .....
I have a Sony Alpha A6000 with the 16-50mm kit lens on it and it just barely fits in with room to tuck the strap in as well. I wanted to get something as small as possible and I think this is it (the Dashpoint 20 is slightly too narrow). The camera with the strap on it is slightly taller than this case, but because it's flexible it is very easy to still zip it around.

The bag was too small for my mirror-less camera, and the material felt cheap. I wasted my money on this one for sure, even if it was not very much money.Published 14 days ago by TIFFANY OXTON
Looks to be a solidly made camera case. It fit my Canon SX610 very nicely. It's a very rugged-looking case - not very sleek. Read morePublished 1 month ago by Jen
Perfect for hiking with a mirrorless camera! I wanted a case for my Sony alpha A6000 and the power zoom kit lens so I could have it handy while backpacking. Read morePublished 1 month ago by Amazon Customer
I'm using it to store a Nikkon Coolpix L340. The bag is big enough for my camera but not too big to make it bulky or uncomfortable to carry around. Read morePublished 2 months ago by Amazon Customer
