I've used an Edit 110 (and an Edit 120) for several years. Their form factor and pockets are ideal for storing and carrying small cameras and accessories. I've just purchased an additional Edit 110; it is not the same as my first one. A functional downgrade is the removal of the mesh zippered pocket in the top that is illustrated in the Amazon product photo. It is replaced with a double mesh pocket with no closure that used to be in the front pocket, i.e., one less storage compartment. The "Zippered Front Pocket With See-Through Window & Interior Mesh Organizer" as described in the Amazon product information is now just a "Zippered Front Pocket." The "Ultra soft tricot-fabric interior" is replaced with a smooth fabric that effectively reduces the padding. Other materials are different; even the zipper pulls are smaller and no longer say "Lowepro." The belt loop on the back attached by Velcro on one end is now permanently attached at both ends. The new bag is lighter (8.4oz vs. 10.2oz) and feels less substantial. Although the photos and product information presented by Amazon are not current (nor is the Lowepro product information tag attached to the bag), the photos on the Lowepro Web site are current. That's what convinced me it wasn't counterfeit. Overall, in my opinion, a really nice bag has been reduced to a pretty good bag.

Review from another buyer made my decision

I was fortunate enough to read the reviews from Bose's own bag. I tend to agree with the reviewer, this bag is great, it may be slightly bigger than Bose's own bag, but its about half the price, and also has room to store your charger and anything else in. LowePro have a good reputation and I have a few of their bags for my camera too.

High quality, makes a good "gadget" bag
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on February 7, 2013Size: 140 CapacityVerified Purchase
I bought this as a gadget bag, for my burgeoning collection of camera accessories. I don't keep the camera itself in it - that's always around my neck, or in a separate camera-only bag while travelling. My previous gadget bag was getting a little too full, and it was a bit too tall - I was having to unpack the whole thing to reach stuff at the bottom.
This bag gives a bit more space than my previous bag, and most important for me - it's not too tall. I no longer have problems with stuff being inaccesible, buried at the bottom of the bag. Like most Lowepro gear, the bag is very well made, with plenty of padding. There is a main compartment, with a see-through zippered pocket in the top. On the outside, there are two small side pockets, and a zippered front compartment.
The main compartment has no pockets or sleeves, just one divider which is a slightly unusual design... one end is sewn into the top-left corner, the other end has a velcro strip so you can fix it to the front, rear or side of the compartment. The divider is sewn into vertical strips, so it folds easily into whatever shape you need.
The top of the main compartment closes with a zip, and there is also a velcro flap that covers the front compartment. I would have preferred the front flap to use a quick-release buckle rather than velcro (velcro is noisy, and not as robust or long-lasting).
The front compartment can be accessed just by lifting the velcro flap, and there are three handy pockets inside that can easily take a DSLR or Superzoom camera battery in each, and still leave a good deal of space for other small bits and pieces.
The side pockets have elasticated tops, and are a little small. Somewhat difficult to access because they're right under the strap attachments too - but on the plus side I suppose that makes it more difficult for anything to fall out, or be pick-pocketed. I question whether they are suitable for battery chargers as the sales blurb claims - they'd have to be smaller than any of the chargers I've ever owned.
The strap has a good range of length adjustment. The buckles swivel which makes it easy to remove any twists in the strap it without taking the bag off. However the buckles are plastic and the swivels might not be as strong as simpler designs.
The rear of the bag has two flat belt loops - I don't think you'd want to wear this bag on your belt, but the loops could be handy for fixing it to a rucksack or something.
Overall, I'm very happy with it - but I rate it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the side pockets and the velcro front flap.

Received different case from the one pictured
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on November 13, 2010Size: 140 CapacityVerified Purchase
I chose this case as it was larger than some of the other cases. I've had smaller cases in the past which although did the job to begin with, I soon found I needed more room as I picked up further bits of kit. I received the item a couple of days after ordering it, free delivery, so no complaints there. Only it wasn't the Edit 140 but rather the Edit 140+ which is quite different from the one pictured.
It's not as wide as the Edit 140 but instead it has a separate detachable base which as it turns out is quite useful. So although I was really annoyed at first when I saw they'd sent me the wrong one, I've actually found it to be a better case than the one pictured, and for the same price. Having looked at the Lowepro website, the 140+ is more expensive than the 140.
There's plenty of room inside the case, for your camcorder, cables, battery etc. In fact I'd say there's too much space, so you may find things rattle around in there.
Unfortunately, there's only one padded compartment divider inside, which is permanently attached to the interior on one side. The other side is velcro and can be detached and adjusted as required. I can just about wrap the divider around my Panasonic SD700 camcorder so it doesn't roll about in the case. If you've got a smaller/slimmer camcorder then you'll have no problem securing the divider around it. It would have been nice to have to another compartment divider to help organise the interior to your preferences.
The rest of the case easily swallows up all the extra cables and a compact camera. There's spare side pockets and internal flaps for memory cards and other small items. Underneath, the charger and plug fit into the detachable base and there's still room for any extra bits & pieces I may accumulate over time. If I don't think I'll need the extra bits and pieces, it's easy enough to detach the base and leave it at home (which also makes the rest of the case even more compact).
The case is built with the usual Lowepro water resistant materials and to the same rugged quality.
Overall I more than happy with the Edit 140+, it's well constructed and the extra room will come in handy in the long term. If it had come with one more, completely detachable, compartment divider I would would have given it 5 stars.

Just top quality from Lowepro
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on October 28, 2011Size: 110 CapacityVerified Purchase
Another quality Bag from the Lowepro stable, I needed a Bag for a Panasonic SD 900 and to say this meets the spec is an understatement, with the inner divider removed the Camcorder fits snugly (the bag could have been made for it) - two outer pockets take both the Batteries I have, and the inner & outer "Net" type pockets take cards & small Accessories - I've used Lowepro for many years since their conception, my Pro DSLR & Pro lenses are housed in a Lowepro bag under great strain (some 9 Kgs) and nothing has given way yet, if that's not a big plus for the quality of this brand then what is? - the Edit 110 is a quality, well constructed bag that should serve you well for many years, the top is both zipped and flapped so weather proofing should also be no problem to this little beauty - full five stars from Me.

Fantastic bargain
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on May 6, 2013Size: 110 CapacityVerified Purchase
I had been considering a few bags for my panasonic V700, then I came across this bag which is a premium brand going for less than the other bags. so I snapped it up. And I'm very pleased with it, it takes the camera, charger and leads and spare battery and media cards no probs. And it feels built to last. I haven't tried it out *in the field" yet, but I'm sure it will be just fine. If there are any left at the same price(less than a tenner! including p&p!) get one. You will not be disappointed, as long as your camcorder is no bigger than say an Panasonic HC-X920 to fit comfortably.
