I started playing arcade style games when there were pinball machines and Asteroids! LOL. I have never been what I would call a "pinball junkie" but I have played them on occasion over the years. The thing that immediately appeals to me in this game, is the mixture of graphical game aspects mixed with what would be called a physics based game experience. The experience is immersive, and I like that there is a goal to the game reached by collecting power-ups, points, etc...
I know there are a lot of younger players leaving ratings here in an attempt to make themselves heard, but, I wish they would leave more constructive comments and less emotional or sarcastic type reviews. First off if the game runs slow or the pinball looks octogon shaped, it may be time to see if mommy and daddy have a phone upgrade available on their cellular plan. Secondly, whether you like the end result of the design or not, leave what you don't like in the review, but tell the designers what they have done well while your leaving comments on what you didn't like. For me the sound track was horrible and needed more creativity so that it didn't make me want to mute the game. But a lot of work went in to the game design. We as gamers often forget or don't realize the amount of time that is devoted to a game design, good or bad!
Well I will hop down off of my soap box and finish with this. Is it a game I will play every day? Probably not. I do however respect the effort and overall game experience and definately would suggest you try it while it is the faotd. No special permissions or ads jumping in your face makes it one to at least try. And for the spider complainers, it is designed that way on purpose. It is called a distractor and you can still see what is going on when the ball drops below it. You are forced to watch and time hits when the ball comes back in to play.
Thanks.
