For Luca took me from WTF? to oh, how sweet in one fell swoop!
I never questioned Luca's love for Fallon. Fallon is broken and turns to Luca in those difficult times. Soraya Naomi is able to weave a web so deep and complex that you can't figure out what is going to happen next or by who. I fell in love hard and fast for Luca in For Fallon and that love became even deeper in For Luca. He may not be able to always express to Fallon the 5 W's of his life, but there is never a doubt about his depth and intensity of love for her. - Heather, reviewer Give Me Books.
This story has many twist and turns, with mystery of how done it. It will take you to a life you have not seen before and teach you a few things about trust and loyalty. You will become part of the story and find yourself cheering for the crime boss. If you haven't read For Fallon you should. - PagebyPageInside-Out.
The author writes these book so well that I feel like I am actually in the world of the Cosa Nostra. For someone who leads a relatively normal and boring life pre Luca, she sure handled all of the not normal or boring things really well. Things that I thought she might never come back from, but instead pushed her into the person she needed to be for this story to work out. I don't want to keep going but I will say that these Chicago Syndicate books have made my list of favorites of 2014. - ShanoffReads.
