Lucas Fuel treatment complies with the federal low sulfur content requirements for use in diesel motor vehicles and non-road, locomotive and marine diesel equipment engines. A powerful blend of oils and additives that contain no solvents. Designed to increase power and fuel mileage and also lower exhaust emissions through a more complete combustion. Formulated for both gasoline and diesel engines, carbureted and fuel injected. It gives your fuel system what it really needs - a blend of super slick oils and additives with a high detergent action that allows the engine to operate at maximum efficiency. Also, it cleans and lubricates the carburetor and injectors and causes the fuel to burn more thoroughly for increased power and less fuel consumption. Lucas Fuel Treatment should definitely be used in vehicles that require leaded fuel because it actually replaces the benefits of lead in gasoline without causing harmful emissions. Use it to pass smog tests. Finally, it totally neutralizes the harmful effects of low sulfur diesel fuel.

TIP: buy these small bottles to keep in the car for use BUT buy the gallon jug to re fill them. It'll have you money.
I have been quoted about $2,000 total to replace the various parts that trigger these warnings, but Lucas always fixes the problem and makes my old truck run like new. I'll keep using it for as long as it keeps working and save myself thousands of dollars in labor costs.
I read a AAA article comparing Top Tier gasoline to non Top Tier. All engines developed some deposits. Top Tier was generally best, but one no-name actually did better than Top Tier. And except for Chevron’s Techron, no fuel additives have a huge established corporation behind them with a recognized effective injector and intake valve deposit cleaner.
That having been said, anecdotal reports by users have been positive and I’m taking a leap of faith and giving Lucas a try. I have read enough to be convinced that gasoline sales are a cutthroat business and although we are lucky to have high quality and good consistency in the USA, the buck stops when it comes to adequate stock fuel additives. Even with Top Tier gas, intake valves clog and piston tops develop deposits. I’m hoping Lucas has earned it’s good rep for helping with these two issues. At the same time I now start worrying about my oxygen sensor and catalytic converter....
I said “good non leaking bottle” because I refill from the quart bottle version.
Be careful not to overtreat. You treat your actual refill gallons each refuel, not your fuel tank’s rated fill-up capacity.
This product is not advertised as an octane booster, and probably rightly so. Most people believe that the higher the octane, the more power the fuel has. That is incorrect. The higher the octane the more resistant the fuel is to pre-ignition. So it will withstand higher heat and pressures without igniting, allowing an engine to have more compression building more power, and operating at higher temps inside the combustion chamber. I find that 91 octane fuel or 93 works better in my Harley, but in my area is very hard to find. few stations carry it.
I have found that by putting about 1.5 to 2 ounces of Lucas fuel treatment in with a fill up, I can operate as if I had 93 octane. Leaning out my factory rich mixture using my tuner and getting more power and better mileage. Be aware though, especially in air cooled engines, on motorcycles, running leaner means running hotter as well. Harley uses fuel in the combustion chamber as part of the cooling process. More fuel, more cooling. Less fuel, less cooling. Know your limits. I increased my cooling, but that's for another time and place.

Have read and researched all about this so called Snake oil on the internet.
I USED to have a car that was about to fail the new UK MOT test spectacularly........not anymore...
My view on this is nothing short of AMAZING....
The smoke emission test results from January 2018 was 2.98m/L
What ever that means, ...any way, get this....
Have been to the garage today, after only THREE tanks and three doses of this wonder oil, test results of ....
That's more than halved the results, garage were amazed and said results were like a new car results...
Not bad for a 16 year old car with 157000 miles on it, don't you think...????
My advice, my engine is a diesel, its a hell of a lot quieter, it goes like it did 70000 miles ago and NO SMOKE....NONE......
I have now bought the large container, more cost effective...
Will work on petrol car also...
BUY BUY BUY...you wont be sorry....
