This is a miracle shoe, in that it fits comfortably and I could even have room for an aftermarket insert if I needed different support (although it seems to provide better support than most ballet slippers, and doesn't cause over pronation at all). The true miracle is that even with the wiggle room inside, it still makes my size 11 long and narrow feet look almost demure. I love the look of ballet flats on other people's feet, but had never considered them for me due to vanity. :) These are remarkable! They look cute, feel great, and detract from the length instead of exaggerating it (as I had feared).
More miraculous: They can go from casual (strolling the beach or taking the dog for a walk) to work to *somewhat* fancy (meeting friends for drinks or going out to dinner) without missing a beat. Would highly recommend these for anyone. Wish I could get one in every color/style!
I'm planning to take them on a trip to Australia in December. Will post updates if anything goes awry.
I wear these shoes to work several times a week, and by lunchtime, they still hurt just as much as they did on day one.
I thought they would stretch out over time, but they have not. The stitching on the back heel is incredibly tight and unforgiving.
Please don't make my mistake!
