Product Description

First aid antiseptic. Does not expire, it always stays fresh. As a water purifier add 3-6 drops per liter of water. No need to refrigerate, but keep out of direct sunlight. Natural water purifier, solution consists of 85% distilled water, 10% Potassium Iodide and 5% Iodine. Iodine is necessary for the thyroid gland's proper performance of its work. We usually get iodine from our diet, however the soil is depleted of essential nutrients and iodine is one of those minerals. In Japan the average consumption of iodine is 10-14mg daily.

I've been taking a Lugol's Solution daily for a few years. I just tried this brand. It was priced well and, warranted or not, the made in Germany says quality to me. I was surprised that in just a couple days I noticed a slight increase in energy. This came without any other changes in diet, supplements or sleep, so now I'm wondering about the brand I've been using!

I take a range of supplements. If I had to give all of them up but one, I'd keep the Lugol's solution for the iodine/iodide. I believe it is that important after much research, online and in a book I bought.

I purchased this to use on a fungus I have had for a good while. It really has helped. When I was a child my mom kept iodine for all kinds of mishaps. But I am adding to my last rating.I was having a hard time with ordering from Heiltropfen Lab.on Amazon Marketplace 10/25/15. They were the greatest with fixing my problem. I contacted them by e mail, almost an instant response. Started 1:56 then 2:12 then 2:23 then 2:53 then 5:47 then 6:19 until he found out what was going on. Now I call this service, most places always say they will get back to you in 24 hours. I will order from them from now on, with that kind of service. I will be using their iodine for some time. Have had really good luck with it on my fungus. Have just used it topical. But with some research I am going to start taking internally. If it gets it on the outside should get it on
the inside. I have tried everything under the sun, and very expensive meds. Our FDA has made it sound like if you use iodine, something bad will happen. Just like the boric acid. They are both minerals. The big pharmacies lobby in DC to make the old time remedy's look bad, because they cant patent them and make big bucks. I have started using this internally, I keep a glass setting in the kitchen with Heiltropfen Lab iodine in it. Take a sip every time I need drink. I can really see a difference in my fungus. I know everyone is different and what works for one may not work for another.
I am reinforcing the review I wrote 9/11/15. This is a very good product, like I said this has helped my skin where I have problems with the fungus. I have used so many products that didn't work, I have lost track I am still taking it internally and I can really tell a difference, dont have as many break outs on skin, will keep this product on hand.Read more ›

I bought the 100 ml version of this and at first was quite impressed. My allergies and brain fog seem to be subsiding and my energy and memory increasing. However upon receiving my product I noticed that it was shipped from Slovenia and that the invoice i received was in typed Slovenian. googled the supposedly German heiltropfen.de website and found it was associated with a Slovenian address. This has sketched me out as I was trusting it was made in Germany.

Iodine tends to have many toxic materials as it binds easily to heavy metals and halogen compounds. The revelation that this iodine product might not be made in Germany unease's me in that it might be contaminated.

Another tell is that a few of the reviews on this product use the exact same language in their writing " It is made in Germany and that says quality to me" which is a tell for disingenuous reviews.

Although this product may be perfectly fine and made in Germany and i may be reading into nothing. Just be an informed consumer be careful and use your own best judgement.

Well, where to begin. I've been battling "something" for six years. All the symptoms gravitate toward a fibromyalgia diagnosis but doctors couldn't agree what to call it. I've been on depression medicine for everything except depression (go figure) which did no good and the last one they tried nearly killed me. Not to mention three years on Oxycodone for pain. I finally decided that if I allowed the doctors to continue experimenting they'd eventually kill me. So, I decided to go it alone which wasn't a hard decision to make considering modern medicine was not helping. I trashed the pills and weaned off the narcotics (a four month ordeal) and began experimenting. Over the course of years I've tried a myriad of things, some of which worked for awhile, but the bottom line was that nothing I tried worked longer than a week or two. That is until now.

I've got to say that I'm not easily impressed but this iodine is nothing short of a godsend. For months before the Lugols I averaged 20-30 200mg Ibuprofen tablets a day (I know, I know) to handle pain. Since beginning the Lugols most days it's no more than six tablets and often times none at all. I wasn't expecting anything near the results I've gotten. More energy, I tolerate the summer heat better than I have in forty years, my stomach has calmed down, and in short, this stuff in amazing and near miraculous.

I've reached the conclusion that no matter whether your health is good or bad everybody should be taking this stuff and religiously. It works and as best I can tell it's almost like a tune up for the metabolic system. Everything, and I do mean everything, seems to run better with a daily dose of Lugol's.
