Fell in love with his character
I love country music, enjoy some of Luke Bryan’s songs, but this was a well done documentary about his life that really depicted who he is as a person…his road to success and all the heartbreaking tragedies along the way. My husband and I highly recommend!!

I had no idea how much I would enjoy watching Luke Bryan.
I came into this 5 part documentary blind, I really didn’t know anything about Luke Bryan except that he is a country music singer and a judge on American Idol. Yes, I have heard a few of his songs on Sirius/XM Radio.

My country music loving wife of 40 years wanted to watch Luke Bryan: My Dirt Road Diary. Over the next 2 days we watched all 5 parts.

I was throughly entertained and completely impressed. My heart strings were tugged at in all 5 parts.

In my opinion, Luke Bryan is a true Prime Human being. From his humble Georgia upbringing to being at the top of his craft, Luke Bryan is a Mega-Superstar in his field of Country Music. I can’t remember when I’ve throughly enjoyed something I’ve watched more than this. My wife and I were moved to tears and then on a dime, we were laughing with him. Luke is truly a first class entertainer, singer/songwriter and has this unique way of sharing with us his gift of family life, song and faith. We were emotionally moved after watching all 5 episodes. It’s hard to put into words how much Luke’s story really hit us straight in our hearts.

I highly recommend this 5 part series to anyone with a love for God, family, friends and country music. Luke has definitely left his mark on the world and from what I can see, he’s not even close to being finished with sharing with us his gift from the heavens above.

Find a few hours in your day to sit back, relax and enjoy this very special story of a young man reaching out to carve out his place in country music. His sincere loyalty and love for his family and childhood friends is nothing short of remarkable. Luke is a true class act. May the good Lord continue to bless him and his family and friends each and every day.

Thank you Luke for sharing your life story with us. I truly hope you find the time for a part 6 through 10.

What his life growing up like?
I like the season because it just describe how he went from a single country boy to a big hit country artist. And shows that he wants people to come to his shows and just have fun and not worried about anything else in the world.

Was never a Luke fan until now!
I'm a traditionalist when it comes to country...old school country music! I never liked his music as country or to me he never represented the real country music genre. He doesn't dress country or sing country music.

But with that being said.....his heart and passion does represent country music and that now makes me a fan of Luke. With everything that he has gone thru and to still presevere is amazing in its self. He took on his family... plus his sisters family and never hesitated. Yes, I'm sure they only showed the good parts in this series but wouldn't we all? I'm older than Luke but wow, what loss and heartache he has endured. Much more than I have ever experienced in my life. Much respect to you Luke!

I actually liked you more in your early years with the cowboy hat and singing real country music. I'm sure you took on a different person to make it and it worked for you. Awesome for you!

I might not listen to all of your work but I will definetly listen to more of it just because of who you are as a person.

One last thing that bothered me....Your now wife had nothing to do with you until after you signed a record deal. She actually broke up with you! I'm not questioning her loyalty to you today but back then it would have made me think about it....at the very least.

So Inspirational amidst such trials!
We just LOVED this story about Luke Bryan’s life, his hard work and determination, his special family, his close faithful friends and what an awesome man Luke himself is. And he is telling us so much about it all himself! We watched all the episodes in one night…we couldn’t stop watching cause this was so good. Love him more than ever now! What a special man, son, father and uncle, and without a doubt a great entertainer.

Everyone from Leesburg is proud of Luke.
I grew up in Lee County and I was a class or 2 ahead of Luke. I didn't know him personally but i know people that knew him. Everyone in the Albany area has 2 degrees of separation. I'm not really a country music fan but I thought episode 1 was wonderful in how he talked about our hometown of Leesburg Georgia. I was really thrilled to see our Lee County elementary school principal Mrs. Cannon. It really took me back to growing up in Leesburg and how lucky we are to have good childhoods there. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see a story about a kid growing up in a small town seeing his dreams come true.

How I Became A Country Music Fan, Who Never Even Heard Of Country Music...
Luke Bryan was the reason why I started listening to country music back in 2014, when I just moved to the USA from Taiwan for graduate school, barely ever listen to any country music songs...
The words in his lyrics at the moment were very approachable for me to grasp. I immediately resonated with his music even though I barely had any exposure to the American culture. A lot of memorable moments also came from listening to his music while driving on country roads in FL, and it was those moments that helped me tremendously to cope with stress from school work and then my career later on.
I also admire Bryan's characters--loyal to his friends, team and family, passion and drive to music, authenticity demonstrated on and off the stage, and willingness to promote Cole Swindell and other artists, and most importantly faith in God.
Such an inspiration to me on my journey of creating my own legacy in my career. Sp I'd encourage you to watch and learn the story behind those amazing songs...
Grateful for your work, Luke!
