My only complaint is the words were small on my Kindle and I couldn't figure out how to increase their size.
This is a perfect story to initiate dialogue between parents and children. It is also a great tool that teachers can use to open up discussions, bring awareness to the pain bullying causes, but also to put forward peaceful solutions that will make a difference in the long run.
Lulu’s Lunch, like Anne's other books, makes a perfect Christmas gift for children as well as teachers.
From Jordan Delgadillo's introduction, the first picture of Lulu, both viewer and reader can easily follow the story-line because the illustrations fit so well with the images Anne Peterson's story-telling paints.
I received a copy of Lulu's Lunch in exchange for providing this review.
Lulu is a little girl that is afraid to tell her mother that the school bully keeps stealing her lunch. She doesn't like lying to her mother. She finally decides to take matters into her own hands and with the help of her friends she sets out to stop the bully.
"Lulu's Lunch" is a great conversation starter. It's a book that a parent or guardian can read to their children and use as a discussion tool about bullying.
