The set is nice the container might not be completely effective but if you're on a stable surface it should not be a problem the shades are good from light to dark and you have to take into account that the light ones will fade less fast then the dark so be gentle with your dark pencils it's very smooth so you don't have to put too much force into it I think it's great for artists of all levels.
