The Luna arrived quickly, packed literally in a cardboard box and nothing else. What??? It's a miracle it was intact upon arrival. Everything works fine, although the bass just has a cheap, cardboardy feel in my hands. I adjusted the neck to get rid of some of the fret buzzing. Even after adjustment, it's pretty buzzy, which might be okay if the sound of the instrument were louder, but it's pretty quiet. I don't really forsee myself being able to play with others without amplification. I'm hoping that I might be able to get more sound or less buzzing with different strings. With an amp, the sound is very noisy and buzzy as well.
I actually think that the shortcomings of this instrument will encourage me to play more correctly, which is okay considering that I got this mostly as a practice instrument. However, if this were my only bass, I would be pretty disappointed. Another thing to note is that there's no place to rest your thumb, so I guess I'll be adding a thumb rest!
