We had a puzzle-themed birthday party and it was a hit thanks to these! We made puzzle sandwiches, puzzle jello and puzzle fruit (with melons) and did lots of --- you guessed it -- puzzles! It worked fine with the jello jiggler recipe. But making puzzle sandwiches with deli meat was a bit tedious. You'll want a meat that cuts easy. PBJ worked easier. We also used them to make puzzle piece decor for the cake. Our 2-year-old puzzle lover was in heaven!! NOTE: It was much easier for my 3-1/2-year-old to do the puzzle prep than the 2-year-old. But they had fun being part of the party prep.

I am a steadfast fan of Lunch Punch. I have all four sets of these fun sandwich cutters and I think they are the best! The puzzle set is so versatile. I've made puzzle piece crackers using the punch that has 4 puzzle pieces to it, I've use the punch that has two small pieces for cutting sliced fruit, cheese, deli meat, etc.

Lunch Punches are very durable and seem much more solid than other sandwich cutters I've used in the past. I love that they are dishwasher safe - so handy when you've just cut through a gooey peanut butter & jelly sandwich! Just a fantastic product. 5 stars, no doubt about it.

I don't know if those reviewers who said it was not sharp enough had a different model or an older version of the product, but the one I received cuts the sandwiches well (I've tried it on a peanut butter and on a ham sandwich). Put sandwich on cutting board, press the punch down, wiggle a bit as you press down to make sure the cut is complete and push the pieces out through the top openings.

My 2 year old loved the result, she kept putting the puzzle apart and trying to put it back together again. Very cute.

I've been using these cutters for my 3-year-old who is a finicky eater and loves puzzles. It has helped because to him, it's fun, so he'll then try the food. Before, he would flat out tell me he didn't like something without trying it.

The one thing I don't like, is wasting the edges of the sandwich. That ends up being my lunch while my son gets the puzzle pieces.

It cuts pretty well. I have to coax it at the end, but it's no big deal.

I was super excited to get these and it gave the effect i wanted.
However,..It was not very easy at first to get the shapes, it did not work well with all types of bread.
After some trial and error i figured out the best match (thin slices).
Another thing...I waste alot of bread. Alot of the bread was not used as it fell outside of the mould.
It would have been better if the mould was bigger, to cover more surface area of the slices.

I have found they are also great for fussy eaters my niece can be very determined on what she will and wont eat but cut her lunch into jig saw pieces and she eats it all up. I bought her the princess one and she loves that too. I would highly recommend for lunch time fun.

LOOKs great but using it is another thing altogether. Bread gets stuck in the holes so you can only use it once before wanting to throw it out of the window. Also wastes too much bread. Probably better redesigning it as a bread squasher to indent puzzle pattern without wasting the whole sandwhich. Cookies too just stuck to it.
