I was looking forward to receive the lunch bots three compartment container. It has a cool design, but it is too expensive. I was looking for better quality. Just one week with it and the brand on the lid started to washoff, now the lid has no brand on it.. The three compartments inside leaks between each other. I was hoping for a better quality product.

Steph,
We're sorry the paint on the logo was defective. This is rare. We'll rush a new lid to you.

Well constructed and sturdy, but the top looks terrible (red paint is very worn) after a year of gentle use. Also, the size kind of drives me crazy, as I have to try to cut up and puzzle in sandwich pieces. I wish it were bigger with a sandwich sized area. Definitely order the plain stainless steel lid!

I love the bright colors on the lids. I love the metal material (not plastic). I love the size. I love the separate compartments. BUT I was very disappointed that food I had separated did not stay in the compartments for my kids. It's not like they are kicking around their lunch boxes but the kids are 5 and 7 and I'm sure the lunch boxes (and LunchBots within) tumble around a bit when handled by the kids.

On the first day of use, I had cut berries in one compartment, crackers in one, and a sandwich in the third. When I got the lunch boxes home after school, there were berries and soggy crackers in all three compartments. The kids said this was how it was at lunchtime.

I did not expect this and am disappointed that I have to be careful what I put in each compartment for the foods to stay separate.
Thank you.

I've bought 2 of the 2 compartment (duo) and really liked them but wanted to try this 3 compartment since 1 of my kids likes tortillas rolled with sun butter and honey. Seems to fit better in long compartment. However, after using for weeks, we prefer the duo better for many reasons. Majority of the days we have more flexibility with the duo. Easier to clean the duo than this one. No stars docked for any of these reasons, still great product, just prefer the duo.

I read the dimensions, but this still seemed small to me when I received it. People rave about these, but my husband would starve if this was the amount I gave him for lunch. We eat a healthy diet, so this serves a snack box for than a lunch box.

I love the color. I also purchase the duo in orange. I really like the trio better because even though they are approximately the same size, the trio is more square, so it will hold more and I think it will pack more nicely into lunch boxes. Also I find that the lid is made a bit differently on the trio, and so that although it stays on just as well, it will be easier for little hands to open. My preschooler will need help to open the duo. I wish I had purchase the quad (same lid and square design as the trio) instead of the duo. By the way, there were no sharp edges on mine, as some people have noted.

The dividers only keep major items from getting jostled around. There is no leak protection between the sections, so they can't be used for pickles (juice gets on everything else), applesauce, dips, etc.. They work well for veggies, crackers, salami/cheese, that sort of thing. And for that I like them very much. I just wish they had the versatility of leakproof sections.

I love this option for my preschoolers lunch. I've been using it for 6 months now -- including putting it in the dishwasher and it is still in great condition. No rust. The red on the top is wearing slightly, I try to hand wash at least the top when I can. It is perfect for how my son likes to eat- I little bit of this and a little bit of that. I use silicon bake cups inside the squares to hold crackers, fruit, etc.
