Job vey well done!!
Although this is an anthology this review is purely for "When Emily was Here" by Kathy-Lynn Cross
I have read stories from Kathy-Lynn Cross before and all I can say is her mind must be a dark and twisty place for sure. This story is definitely on the really dark edge of things and although I will confess to working out some parts of the plot some of it had me guessing right up to the very last page.
Followers of my reviews will know that I love my fiction on the dark side and this definitely fist that bill. If the rest of the anthology is even half as good then you won't be disappointed
Personally I would grab the anthology for this story alone!
5 Stars From me
***Review has been done in conjunction with Nerd Girl Official. ***
A fascinating collection of short stories that dig deep into into ones mind. Each Author brings their individual talent bring compelling and though provoking stories. Some of the stories touch (on) the subjects of mental illness; depression, schizophrenia, split personalities, self inflicted harm and suicide.
I can honestly say I enjoyed each story, some were new Authors (to me) and I would like to read more from them. I highly recommend to those who love thought provoking (short) stories. Stories included listed below.
