First of all I tried installing it without the neutral wire, and it only worked briefly, then displayed a red indicator light. This meant that I had to install the included dongle to the neutral wire because my lights are low voltage LED. See the attached image. The included dongle has 2 white wires coming out of it. I needed to attach one end of the dongle to the neutral wire, and the other end of the dongle to the hot red wire as well as to the black wire of the switch as a triple splice. Then the other black wire from the switch goes to your other black hot wire. I capped off the blue wire because that is only needed for a 3 way switch setup. Finally attach the ground wire to the box housing.
Pairing the switch with Wink was easy, just hold on the lower button when prompted to by the Wink app. The switch then shows up as a light in the Wink app, I just named it My Lutron.
Now here's how you use the switch... First of all, I have it attached to a combination ceiling fan/light which is Wink compatible... If you press the off button on the switch, then you can no longer control the fan via Wink until you click the My Lutron icon in the Wink app to turn the switch on, then you can go to the fan section of the Wink app to control the fan. Furthermore, the Wink compatible light still shows up as its own icon in the light section of the Wink app in addition to the My Lutron icon. Same deal, you can't use the light icon unless the My Lutron icon is on.
Truthfully this switch is intended to be attached to a standard light in order to make the standard light work with Wink. But as I described above, you can still use this switch if you already have a Wink compatible light and/or fan.

Pairing the switch with Wink was easy, just hold on the lower button when prompted to by the Wink app. The switch then shows up as a light in the Wink app, I just named it My Lutron.
