Part of my home is an old farmhouse build over 100 years ago. While the wiring was upgraded a couple decades ago, they still didn't add a neutral line to any of the switch gang boxes. Lutron makes one of the few available smart switches that will work without a neutral.
Installing the switch was easy, though I prefer the GE design where the wires are inserted into the switch body, rather than using wire nuts as Lutron has done. This particular model is one of the few Lutron makes that is compatible with 3-way switches without needing to buy a Pico remote and wallplate kit.
Because this switch does not dim, it's compatible with more bulbs than the other Lutron smart switches, however, you may need to modify your light fixture with the LUT-MLC capacitor that is included with this kit. I got lucky, my fluorescent fixture that I'd converted to run LED tubes didn't require modification, but if yours does, it's fairly simple.
My only complaint, and the reason I can't give this 5 stars, is that the price tag is absurdly high compared to the dimmer switches, nearly 50% higher!
