The quality of an otherwise-solidly made and well-finished adapter is torpedoed by the fact that the center section (indicated in red in the photos attached) is a fair bit too wide. Attempting to mate an inflexible aluminum adapter to an acrylic camera case was a bit hair-raising as I could see the plastic tabs of the case spreading to accomodate the adapters THICC center tab yet running afoul of the outer sections.
The solution was to introduce the adapter to a Dremel wheel and then a procession of increasingly fine abrasive papers.
It seems that if one is going to advertise compatibility with certain devices, a touch of testing might be in order.
Out-of-the-box fail, but DIY makeshifted.
