Material & Craftsmanship: Average silk scarves range from 5-momme to 10-momme in thickness. Dahlia uses 100% 12-momme luxurious charmeuse satin silk which has a silkier, softer and more vibrant surface than satin, making a perfect canvas to preserve the rich colors of the original art.

Each scarf's edge is hand rolled by skilled workers because Charmeuse is one of the most challenging fabrics to sew and also tends to leave holes and marks where the fabric was pinned.

Perfect size and could be used also as a cover for a smaller table in bedroom or entry . Adds warmth to any decor or of course is lovely as an addition to an otherwise plain suit or sweater.     The scarf is absolutely gorgeous! The colors are vibrant and even more delicious than shown on the picture. I have no problem with the length - it is more than adequate. The scarf can be worn long, wrapped around the neck, knotted, and so on. It's great quality silk, soft and strong, and so pretty.

    Highly recommended! Eye catching, a great conversation starter, and it goes with almost anything. I'm thinking of ordering a few more in different prints.

    I bought this scarf for my sister in law for Christmas. I had originally bought her a book, our status quo gift, but she mentioned to me that she had read that book at Thanksgiving. I was distraught. Of course, she liked the book, so I congratulated myself on picking a book she would have liked, and then focused on OMG what do I get her now? My sister in law is hard to shop fo. I was definately glad that I bought it, but I held my breath when she opened it. She said she loved it and commented how she often wants to wear some of the colors included in the scarf but she does not think she could pull them off, but the scarf had just the right amounts. She even wore it to Les Mes the next night! Happy Sigh. I love this scarf, and I have seriously considered getting one for myself. I think it would be an awesome addition to some boring work attire.

    I purchased this item for my mother and she loved it as much as I did. Loved the wine-coloured drawstring bag that it came in - added an elegant touch to the scarf. Colours of scarf vibrant and rich in tones; the size given in the product info is incorrect - it's not 69 inches but a few inches less but this does not make the product any less desirable; however to be accurate it should be corrected on the website. I would suggest that a small card be included with the scarf giving the supplier info (Dahlia) and some information on the fabric, etc. of the item so that if it is a gift, the person can appreciate the work involved in creating the scarf. What I did was copy the product info from the Amazon website, added some info on the Van Gogh piece of art that the scarf represented and used an artistic font to create my own little "card".

    Would highly recommend this product.

    I bought this scarf because it was so classy looking. The woman with this gift in mind, is classy herself. I must admit I thought twice about the purchase because I don't usually pay that much for a scarf BUT I am not sorry now. The receiver was very touched. It fit her personality to a T. She got choked up and with her eyes tearing, she thanked me. She told me it was one of those gifts you cherish because scarf was so her taste. The scarf came in a red see through bag and protected within a plastic film casing. The scarf arrived earlier than promised and it took a lot of control not to give it to her early. I would do it again in a heartbeat!
