Usability: a) the soap bottle needs to hold more, it runs out so fast. b) the soap bottle is NOT REFILLABLE. c) it seems to dispense more soap than needed, which makes it run out even faster.
Aesthetics: the dispenser looks decent but why in the world did they (a) have the cheap plastic soap bottle stick out of the top and (b) make the soap bottle label so big that it also can be seen sticking out of the top.
Price: the dispenser is reasonable but the little soap bottles cost 4 times more than any other soap. Since the bottles are very small and not refillable, the price can add up quickly. You can carefully pry the top off and refill the little bottles)
1) Peel the sticker off on top of the soap bottle
2) Then gently enter the Soap bottle into the dispenser and put pressure on it until you hear a click noise.
3) Pull the red material out from the bottom of the dispenser, this will lead to batteries now powering the machine.
4) Now place the dispenser wherever you wish, and then slide the button in the back to the right to turn on the machine.
5) Keep putting your hand next to the sensor, because it is going to take 3-4 tries until the soap starts to come out.
Now that it is activated, your good to go.
Now on to the product review. I am going to be setting it up in 3 categories and give it a overall grade so you can decide if this product is for you.
Functions - I've had this product for about 3 months now. It hasn't given me any problems. When you put your hand next to the sensor, it releases soap just the right amount. If you had to compare to how much soap is dispensed each time, I would say about the size of a quarter on your palms so it is not a lot. Overall this product does what it is advertised to do and I have not gotten any problems or malfunctions.
Body (design & durability) - The design of the soap dispenser is pretty simple.Read more ›
It's much cheaper than other touchless dispensers.
While it's not true stainless steel, they do look nice.
THEY DON'T DRIP. I can't emphasize enough how happy I am about that.
The refills come in a variety of scents, but I would recommend purchasing them at Wal-Mart for about $3.50.
It comes with batteries.
The soap that comes with this kit is a little runny and not very soapy. This may be to keep the pumping mechanism working smoothly.
Purchasing refills isn't the cheapest way to do no-touch soap dispensers, but it's not terrible. I think pump-for-pump, purchasing refills for this is cheaper than the fancy Bath and Body Works soaps my wife used to get.
It's a solid, well-built unit that gets the job done. It has a few downsides, But I would still highly recommend it to everyone as a good all-around solution to bathroom hand-washing.
Haven't refilled yet, but I am sure it is as easy as getting them going! "Stainless" is plastic, but matches my decor just fine.
Packaging: The plastic "clamshell" packaging that these systems come in is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. You'd think these things were worth a thousand bucks the way they lock them in a fortress. If you don't have a tool specifically for clamshell packaging (I do), be prepared to be at it for a while.
Setup: Setup is very easy provided that you didn't tear up the cardboard piece at the front/bottom of the package while you're trying to open the clamshell. The cardboard piece contains instructions for setup and use. You have to remove a tab off the battery compartment, a sticker off the top of the soap container and insert the soap container into the base. Pretty easy.
First Use: While my HAND SOAP system started working correctly pretty quickly after setup, my KITCHEN system took a while...I waved my hand under there quite a lot before it finally dispensed soap. So be patient if it doesn't start right away.Read more ›

I received the twin pack of these soap dispensers as ordered. While one was in great shape and performed perfectly right out of the package, the other unit was defective. Read morePublished 2 months ago by kelly
Don't buy it, it's junk -- drops soap on the counter when you turn the lights on & off. It dispenses too much soap & is a complete mess. I tossed it in the trash.Published 3 months ago by Janet W.
