The 2280 station has a brass stand off that is build into the board and a screw that fits. If you want to do another size, there is a screw on the back that holds the brass standoff circled in red at the left. This is a barrel with the same threads running all the way through and there's a narrow diameter cone on the back so it'll stay in the selected hole.The screw for the back side and the screw from the fixed 2280 station are the same size and both work in either location. The screws are LONG, the one from the rear only leaves a tiny bit of space for the front.Which is fine because there is some subtle problem with the threads on the mobile standoff. Even with the back screw removed, neither will even start threading into the front, so the adjustable size feature does not work. This is a 2280 only carrier.
