I have a wet saw, too, which I use for all the big, straight cuts. But for curved cuts or for cutting small tiles, a tile nipper is essential. There is a learning curve, and I suggest you purchase a couple of extra tiles to practice on if you haven't used nippers before. I have also found that scoring the tile where you want the cut first (with a scoring tool) gives me almost perfect results! As another reviewer mentioned, take small "nibbles" rather than trying to nip off a big chunk. Once you get the hang of it, these nippers let you work quickly and accurately without the hand fatigue.
They worked with ease! They make a cut right into my nature stone tile right where I wanted them too and barley had to squeeze the handles. It cut right where I wanted them too and it made the job a lot easier.
+ Good product reviews.
+ Low cost with free Amazon shipping.
+ Appears to be a well built, heavy duty tool.
- The nipper jaws don't close all the way, leaving over an 1/8" gap when fully closed. This wasn't in the product discription. If this was noted in the product details, I would have passed on this tool. :(

These seem nice but I could not get the hang of using them. Could be user error since it was my first time cutting tile but I stuck with the box cutterPublished 12 hours ago by Nicole
They didn't work on vinyl tiles. I believe they would work on ceramic tiles. It should be made more clear that they will not work for your average thickness vinyl floor tile.Published 17 days ago by Riverside

These work perfectly. We've been remodeling and done a ton of tile work. I would have been lost without these to help.Published 2 months ago by 3 Sides of Crazy
