From the Author
When I started writing M, I knew I wanted to put a book out there that would, hopefully, reinforce the damaging effects drugs can have. My primary audience would been teenagers--those kids that are torn between right and wrong each day. I wanted to show them there are unexpected consequences when you thirst for revenge or take risks that may seem like a good idea in the beginning.
My main character goes through a lot of changes, and he comes to conclusions that can only be reached once the fall has occurred. I hope this novel changes just one person's mind about reactions, messing with Mother Nature, or spending time loving the people who are in your life today--because you don't know when they may be taken from you.
I hope you enjoy M. Thanks for reading!
From the Inside Flap
Ever wonder how far you would go for revenge, or what the ramifications of your actions may be? When two people struggle, and both of them have a mass of forces behind them, is there ever really a winner?
If you strike out, you may end up having to do the one thing you despise most. Even then, it may not be enough to save those you love.
From Jo Michaels, the author who brought you I, Zombie, comes a new tale studying the basics of human nature while keeping you gripping the edge of your seat and clutching a box of tissues.

I really enjoyed reading this one. The idea for it is original, creative, and is written in a way that makes it easy to read. I was able to finish it in just a couple of hours. The main character is a teenager who is passionate about what he believes in and is willing to fight for it. He is the kind of guy who looks bullies in the face and stands up to them and is also a big brother and son who is adored by his family. Of course I like Griffin Taylor, it would be very, very difficult not to like the kid- even though trouble seems to follow him like the plague.
The only thing that kept me from giving this 5 stars is the way the book ended. <spoiler> I mean, REALLY?!? Right when it is getting good and the hero is about to take down the bad guy, the book just stops? What is UP with that? I turn the page expecting to get to read on about the sweet torture and revenge that is about to get piled on this horrible, insane, and sociopathic LOSER, and there is just no more book! I don't even get to find out if poor Dolly lives or dies...she is just left with a knife put into her chest. Considering the pill you can take in this world rebuilds your DNA, if she is given one it could theoretically heal her wounds. But no, I am just left to speculate. I guess some books do that so that you can surmise for yourself what happens in the end, and sometimes I appreciate that in a book. This time, however, it really felt unfinished to me. I literally paged back wondering if I had skipped a page on accident...I hadn't. </spoiler>
However, even with all of that being said, I still had fun reading this. If you're looking for a quick, fast-paced read, then add this one to your list.
