M.E Lee aka Michael Lee is a grandfather of six, a US Army veteran and is retired from a career with the American Red Cross and other blood collection associations. He retired from the Red Cross in January 2013 after several years as Blood Services Collections Manager for the Southern Region.
Following months of looking for something to do in retirement besides fishing and golf, he decided to try his hand at writing a book. He had authored many short stories through the years, so a novel was not out of the question. "The Anderson Letter" is his first effort, but he promises more to come.
When asked how he writes a story, Michael said he pictures the story in his mind and types out the scenes as he sees them unfold. He said writing this way is fun because even he doesn't really know how the story will end until he pictures the final scene. He enjoys adding a touch of history and a dash of humor to his fictional works.
Michael is an artist as well as an author, and he volunteers with the Food Bank at his church. He and his wife, Vicki, live in Savannah Georgia.
