Not quite. Mike does indeed give insights into Trump's mindset, but I was hoping for more here. That said, as with Gorilla Mindset, there are principles here that can be applied to your life, even if you despite Donald Trump and everything he stands for.
MAGA Mindset is clearly written from the perspective of a Trump supporter, although I wouldn't necessarily call it for Trump-supporters only. But if you are not a fan of the man, there is plenty in here that will irk you.
That said, MAGA Mindset is a quick, interesting read that will help you understand a bit better what makes our 45th President tick. Personally, I'm always interested in reading about people in power, whether they're Democrats, Republicans, or whatever (Barack Obama's life, for example, is fascinating). These kinds of stories let you know what made these men and women what they are.
I do recommend this book, but if the sight of Trump's cartoon-drawn face is enough to enrage you, your mileage may vary.
(Mike's other book, Gorilla Mindset, however, is politics-free and well worth reading).
Edit: Upon re-reading, I just can't give such a poorly edited book 4 stars. If you were in middle school, you'd have to put more proofreading effort into your work than apparently Cernovich feels is necessary for his. Also, I want to add another comment on the content. The book is most engaging when criticizing the mainstream media. That section is great. The final section is a bit of fluff. It is a mix of positive-thinking platitudes and advertising for Mike's other books. I didn't object to the fluff, but I felt it was of lesser value.
Edit: After re-reading this book, I just can't give it 4 stars anymore. The lack of proofreading is ridiculous. Further, it hurts the credibility of the material.
