Malvika's energetic character and personality comes out very well through the illustrations. The illustrations beautifully reflect not just the emotions but even the medical procedures. The narrative engages and maintains the readers curiosity till the end.
As for the hero herself, what an inspiration!

Its the story of 13 yr old Malvika Iyer whose carefree childhood is shattered when she has a freak accident.
How she, her mother and family overcome this accident and its aftermath is a story of incredible courage, fortitude and resilience.
Heartwarming, poignant and beautiful.
A story worth reading and sharing.
Sriram's art work and illustrations are in black and white, simple and elegant. They capture the story very well
