Well, the splitter worked great for the 1st 5 or 6 months. Literally plug and play. Unfortunately after 5 or 6 months, the power supply became increasingly flaky. By the 7th month I was forced to place the power cord connected to the splitter in a very specific position in order for it to work. I someone sneezes the wrong way I have to jump underneath my table and gently readjust the power cord. Virtually it's useless now and the warranty has expired (it's only 6 month long). Therefore, if you intend to use this product often and for longer than a year, look elsewhere. I now have to buy another one and insure it has at least a 12 month warranty. Caveat emptor!

It works well most of the time. However there are times when the signal drops out for a second or two and then comes back. The drop outs can get annoyingly frequent. When it does work, the picture quality and sound are great. I am suspicious of the power supply. I think the problem is there because of all the power supply problems people are all having.

Worked as advertised. I am using it to split the output from a DirecTV box to two TVs. The further TV is connected with this cable Aurum HDMI Cable 50-Feet . It has been reliably working for a couple months. I would have bought the two port version if it had been available at the time.

I am happy with my purchase and would buy this product again.

Power Supply Useless

I never write reviews. Unless there is something very wrong with the product that I purchased.

When I set this up I noticed that when I plugged in a couple of HDMI cords, the unit would switch on and off (typical of a device that is needing to pull more current than its power source is providing). The power supply that comes with this is rated for 1 Amp +- 50mA. I'm fairly certain that this won't work on a supply that is only 1 Amp.

Luckily, I have a few spare adapters around and I was able to find one that delivers 5V DC @ 2 Amps. Once I wired that one up and plugged it in everything started working.

Recommend you buy from another source that provides half-decent power supplies.

Works fine with 4 HDMI outputs for one HDMI input. There are indicator lights for input and each of the outputs showing if there is a connection to a source/destination. Seems to work ok without needing the power supply, but that may depend on the specific devices connected to it.
