I bought this watch in the later winter after reading some reviews on some of the watch forums and also after really liking the look of both the face and the stainless steel case. This is an excellent, tough watch that tells great time. The Chronograph Pilot runs about 6 sec fast per day which is at the limit of a COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres) standard watch although this watch is not officially COSC compliant. This is my active sports watch as I use it for a variety of sports including tennis, shooting, hiking, swimming and snorkeling. It has kept great time throughout with no hiccups nor even a scratch on the crystal (*knock on wood*). The watch definitely has a large diameter but on my smaller than average wrist it looks fine. My watch is a 2010 production watch.

Being in a construction trade and on rough job sites, carrying tools, in and out of tool boxes hammering bricks, on ladders ect.,this watch is a TANK! I love this watch, the heavy duty cool look and the accuracy...+-1 a day! better than my Deep Sea! Yes, it's a big watch but wears very well. The tritium lume is the best, no fade at all from dusk till dawn! I have owned many many tool watches..the CSAR is the ultimate!

This watch is huge! Ultra tough construction but very stylish. I've been wearing it for a month and it keeps time great. The automatic winding feature works well, you can hear and feel it work. I stopped wearing it for two days to check the winding and time keeping and discovered no problem. It has a work horse swiss movement. Do some research and you'll find some aspects of the movement that were used to make it "inexpensive" are actually now considered improvements over much more expensive movements.
