Bought this product for nursing school. I have a littmann but since our stethoscopes tend to "walk off" I didn't want to risk a $100 scope disappearing on me. I bought this for a cheaper substitute and I must say I am IMPRESSED. The sound is almost equal to my Littmann, very comfortable to wear especially in my ears, I can hear breath sounds, and rhythm in heavier patients with ease. I would definitely reccomend this for nursing or med students, or anyone that needs a quick replacement (you might fall in love). Plus free parts for life and a life time warranty? Who can beat that?!

Hands down the best stethoscope! Side note: I had a littmann cardiology prior to this and would have trouble hearing with it. It broke in half (LITERALLY) and I was in the market for a new one. A coworker recommended the MDF as she had just purchased one. I tried hers out and was SOLD! I can hear SO much better with this one! At least 5 other coworkers have also recently purchased one because we love ours so much! Highly recommend! Lots of different color combos, hearing quality is next level and let's not forget the price is awesome as well!

A few years ago, for some strange reason, I decided to try a different brand of stethoscope. I had been using Littmann stethoscopes my entire career since starting nursing school in the early 90's. I regret the decision to switch. I have struggled with this MDF stethoscope since purchasing it. The ear tips frequently tear because of a sharp metal ridge under the tip. Almost every time that I use it to assess lung sounds or take a manual BP, the bell clicks off to sound with the slightest bump. The angle in which the ear tips enter the ear make it difficult to hear unless you hold it just right. My coworker has the same problems with his MDF stethoscope and wants to replace it too. I will be going back to Littmann.

Ordered this after seeing a coworker had one with sound surprisingly clear. Packaging came perfectly. The sound works well overall, the issue I had with it was the head dial. I don’t know if it was mine in particular or because I didn’t look over his enough, but every time I tried to listen with the adult side it would click out of place. It seemed like it was fighting the tubing. I would change it back to adult, I’d hold it forward back to take a BP, and it would click out of place again. If you don’t have an issue with holding it a specific way, it should be fine and sound will be nice. It’s just too much of a pet peeve for me.

Really like this one. Had a Littmann Lightweight SE II before and this one has superior sound quality for pressures and breath sounds. I work as an EMT and it’s really durable, can keep it in my pocket no problem without fear of the diaphragm getting damaged. Also came with different size ear pieces for me to put on for the best fit. Excellent stethoscope, great quality. Recommend for anyone wanting an upgrade from their stock stethoscopes. Will definitely be sticking with this company

For the prices you couldn't have asked for better.

This stethoscope saw me through FY1and FY2. Used in A&E and it was more than adequate for my level, and likely beyond. You are able to hear all murmurs, chest sounds, bruit and bowel sounds perfectly.

If you're strapped for cash I would definitely recommend this stethoscope. You don't need a fancy Litmann to be a good clinician.

Looks really nice (had many compliments about the black design over the two years), has a nice weight to it.e

Only limitation is that the bell and diaphragm are on different sides and sometimes the stethoscope turns without you realising. This is an issue with all stethoscopes of this design, so don't let that put you off.

Will buy again if I need a new stethoscope.

Firstly, I am not a med student, doctor or paramedic, hats off to those who are, keep up the amazing job!
I have high blood pressure and I travel all the time as part of my job. Drs like me to keep monitoring my own BP and report into them regularly. Now I do have a very good electronic BP monitor that does the trick; however on an x-ray it looks like a bomb and it’s a lot of effort to take everywhere.
My answer, old school manual cuff and one of these stethoscope’s!
It’s great and does exactly what I need it to. In fact I was surprised at just how good it is although I did go off the reviews from those on the front line.
Very happy with it, robust and gets thrown into my bag to jet off round the world all the time.

To be honest I have never expected this product to be quality as the Littmanns I've been using. As I have forgot to bring my Steth to Uk had to buy this one till I receive mine later. WOW... Can hear heart sounds and respiratory sound very clearly. Have not tried on a pregnant mother for FHS yet. Wow never get fooled by the low price.
