My last set of headphones lasted less than 3 weeks.. I have had these for 5 months and they have been through everything. i have caught the wire on drawer knobs before and I wear these daily while driving, hiking or even shoveling snow. These things are built to last!
Every set of headphones I have ever owned except these have all had connection problems after a period of time. Usually it is where the wires meat the jack. These are built really well and so far so good..
Another big plus was that I paid around $20 for these I believe.. I am not sure what they are selling for but I have paid 3 times as much for headphones that have not lasted nearly as long and have not had the sound quality these have. I just love these headphones.. 5 months of using these every single day and they work perfectly still and they sound even better now than when I got them.. Oh yeah, these headphones block a good deal of sound as well.
This was one of the best purchases I have ever made.. I am so happy with these..
UPDATE-Here it is January 2011..I have had the phones since Aug 2010 and I have used them every single day since they arrived. I finally managed to break them..One of the speaker wires ripped in half. I was very depressed because going back to any other headphones after these is just seriously depressing. I went through my orders and found the order for these and sure enough they had a year warranty! I contacted the company through email yesterday and today the7y are shipping out a new paid for me.
If you have ever read any of my other reviews you will know I am a regular person and that I leave honest reviews. In addition, I never get this excited about a product. I have never been so happy with such an inexpensive purchase before. If you are reading this right now researching head phones I am telling you these headphones are very durable and they sound great. They bock outside sound as well as other headphones that cost 6 times as much.. This is truly a great buy and this company stands behind their products..
These get 5 stars!!

I know that 13 dollars might be temping for some, almost a nickel or two, but in my case, was quite a budget if you are buying outside of US (to summarize it cost me around 44 dollars, with taxes and shipping). There is a quite limited offer in the IEM's around here in Argentina, especially when you are in the look for a more out of norm sound.
I been using these in a daily basis for almost a full month, an I am fairly confident that I can provide some feedback about these particular model of MEElectronics.
For start, they provide quite an array in accessories, the clamshell hard case and the 5 tips are something that don't you find often, 3 regular silicone tips (that are in the hard spectrum of the IEM tips that I tried before), 1 biflange of the same materials (the defaults, and the most comforting in my opinion) and 1 biflange on the softer side.
The cable seems quite resistant and is not prone to tangle. L plug, golden and angled which is welcome, and in comparison a tad smaller that I am used too. Metal shells add some sentiment of durability, instead of the hard plastic that are norm over here.
Now, I should dwelt in the weak points of these ones. For a start, they got a bit off microphonics when weared with the barrels down (use the cable over the ear to prevent it entirely), the tips are not that comfortable, they are on the hard side and taking in the account these are quite sensitive to insertion, you need to really stop and taking your time for get a decent sound.
That is one of the aspect that I dislike it the most, all my previous IEMs were really comfortable and they doesn't needed such attention for getting a balanced sound, with a proper isolation. These ones has to be put in a very precise manner to avoid muffled sounds or a terrible low volume.
They sound "quieter" that my previous par (Panasonic RPHJE120K), but with more details in the trebles, witch I find quite pleasant. The bass is present, but doesn't sound out of balance nor saturated with an increase of volume.
I think that maybe, this defects can be corrected with other tips.
I am always travelling in mass transports, so ease of use and comfort was something that I took for granted with my previous headphones. These ones, let me down in that department, but I guest is not unsolvable.
Having taking all that into account, still I can recommended for a go.
