I've been consistently using these since 2011 when they were still branded under a different name. I've tried all the caffeine gums and this is the only brand that gives a significant caffeine boost.
Pros: You can feel the caffeine boost within 2 minutes after you begin chewing. It's inexpensive, more convenient, and doesn't stain your teeth compared to coffee.
Cons: It tastes pretty bad and the texture of the gum is very stringy so gets stuck in different areas of your teeth. I've also occasionally received boxes that were inconsistent in caffeine potency. One box would noticeably have more or less caffeine than the other. I'd have to chew 2-3 to get the same boost of 1 from a different box.
The caffeine absorbed through this gum hits faster but also doesn't last as long as drinking coffee. Most people I've given this gum to agree. In my opinion this is a pro because it's easier to time and control dosage if you don't want the caffeine to keep you awake by bedtime. Again, this is the only brand out there that actually contains enough caffeine to give you a boost. The reason why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I feel they can improve the texture so it doesn't get all stringy and get stuck in different parts of your mouth. Having the bitter taste come back during a meal is very unpleasant.

Each piece of military caffeine gum contains 100 mg of caffeine, which is about the amount found in a six-ounce cup of coffee.
One sleep researcher contemplated and expanded on the concept of delivering caffeine through gum in 1998, and one year later Congress funded the first study in this area of inquiry.
