Only one quarter of it lit up.

Tested it before install. Worked perfect. Installed it carefully and nicely around engine bay edge. No kinks or cuts. Plugged it in and only a quarter of it lit up. Backing glue on strip could be more
sticky. I alcoholed everywhere it should stick. Stayed in most spots. Will purchase another brand and try again.

***UPDATE*** After my one star review on the LED light strip, I am re-evaluating my review to five stars due to the superior customer service from the seller. They immediately contacted me and were very sincere and swift in sending me a quick replacement. Constant communication was optimal. Sometimes a product may be damaged in shipment or misfire. I encourage everyone to purchase from this seller as you will be satisfied either way as they will correct any problem you may have if it arises. I will buy again if need be. I thank you very much for handling my purchase in the most satisfying way it can.

Very bright LEDs

The lights are awesome. I used them in the grill and on the under carriage of my show van. Nice and bright. I used 2 6 foot sections on the bottom and about 3 feet in the grill.

Worth the price!

I bought these at a perfect low price! Beware though that these are smaller LEDs which means not as bright illumination. It was perfect for my use!
Check out the image attached. This product was the red led not the blue (and u can see the difference in brightness).

For brighter LEDs - go with the 5050 SMD

Bright, but not too bright. Perfect for my 60 gallon aquarium

Using these in my 60 gallon fish tank as "night lighting." The results are remarkable. Bright, but not too bright, and the blue really works well. These are mounted inside my tank, so waterproofing is a major plus for me. I cut to fit. Easy to do, just look for the place between the LEDs where there are 4 metal dots, and cut between those. Mine had faint lines where to cut, I took a pic with my phone and zoomed in to verify.

Now I need to find the pigtail adapters that are compatible with these so I can make more for my other tanks!

Half wont light up

I really want to like this light strip but after spending an hour hanging it and wiring it to my timer in the chicken coop...only half of it lit up :-( I traced the whole thing to make extra sure I hadnt kinked it anywhere or nailed into the strip but it just doesnt light up the second half. I will edit my review once I get response from the company...other reviewers that had issues appear to have had good customer service so here's hoping!

These work great, the only drawback that I found with the picture is that there is no "White" to speak of. So instead of using them in the kitchen I ended up using them as accent lighting in the basement bar area. I can't get over how many people on here complain that it doesn't come with a power supply when it clearly states in the description that it doesn't come with a power supply. Maybe Amazon should test customers literacy levels before allowing them to order.

Quality seems on par with equal 5m waterproof LED light strips. I used this to replace the internals of a Recon brand full cab length 3rd brake light. Worked out great and WAY brighter than the LEDs it replaced, not to mention the diffuser on the lens made it look like 1 long red bar instead of individual LEDs.
