Ever since her very successful first book "The Hip Chick's Guide to Macrobiotics", i got empowered that it can actually be really EASY and FUN to eat healthy. Out of all my books on this subject, this is the one i come back to the most.
With "The Milf Diet", Jessica Porter wrote a book about healthy eating especially adjusted to women.
Even though i'm not a MILF myself, i still got a lot out of her book because it's so informative and just a blast to read.
The beautiful pictures inside made it even more fun to browse through.
If you are interessted in a healthy way of eating and want to know how to do it, this is the book for you.
You also get many tips on how to create a lifestyle that supports and nourishes you on all levels.
I wish Jessica Porter all the best on her new book and may it become another bestseller like her previous one.

Jessica Porter helped me change my health and the way I relate to food about five years ago. I'd been suffering with severe joint pain and an all-consuming malaise. She gently suggested that my food choices might be part of the problem. After five years (mostly) vegetarian, my symptoms have disappeared and I'm lighter in spirit and body mass. While I'm neither vegan nor macro (I did become a vegetarian with her support), I've found her two books very valuable (check out her other book, The Hip Chick's Guide to Macrobiotics). If you're open to exploring ways that food can become your body's friend rather than foe, the MILF Diet is a good read. Don't let the title scare you off (Skinny Bitch was a good book, too).

I'm not one to follow a single diet prescription to the letter. I've cobbled together what works for me from myriad sources over the past five years. If you adopt just a handful of Jessica's suggestions, you'll begin to feel better and may be encouraged to take your discovery further. Small steps, people. It all adds up to better health.

Being a believer in whole foods I was drawn to this book. I have been a follower of Jessica for a long time on Facebook so I felt I already had a connection with her. I have to say the book is wonderful. It's like talking to an old friend, she writes in such a way that makes it just 'click.' I love the fact that she admits that she's like so many of us, me included, and it took her a while to get it all together. I can relate, I had breast cancer in both breast this past year at the age of 30, I cured myself holistically with no dr intervention (except testing). Even after all that I feel like it's hard for me to keep going on the healthy course. So I appreciate her down to earth and honest style. The Milf diet is for sure giving me a boost to stay on a healthy course!!

Jessica Porter does it again with a diet book that is funny, inspirational, and spot-on in its healthy living and eating advice. This diet can transform your life. I know. It helped me recover from an autoimmune disease 20 years ago as mentioned in my book, [..] and helps keep me a slim, active, and youthful-looking GILF now. This book has inspired me anew to keep eating the Jessica way.

I've just read a couple of the reviewers of this book that are offended by the title, and it's really a shame that the brilliant contents of this book could be ignored due to a lack of sense of humor.
Pleasepleaseplease don't let anyone deter you from procuring this sensible, well organized, well written book! It's filled with sound advice with mouth watering, yet simple recipes that are accessible to anyone.

In only 3 days since I first perused the book, I've already experienced subtle but powerful changes from easily removing a couple of foods and substances from my diet that were actually stoking up aches and pains, and exhausting me overall. I also noticed that I felt a little friskier and attractive, so how could that be such a bad thing? If that's being a MILF, I want it!
Seriously, I don't care if I'm a MILF or not, I just want to feel and look better while actually feeding my body and spirit vs. robbing it with poor choices. Looking forward to making some of this delicious whole food. ENJOY!

Her witty and insightful writing style made this book a fun and easy, yet highly informative read. To laugh out loud while being informed and inspired is my idea of a good reading experince.
