LOVE IT !! Glad I read the reviews!! It IS the memory foam...as advertised!!! It's a bit of heaven!!! I had company & gave them my room & wa sleeping on the fold out bed. Needless to say I needed some "softness"!! Oh my this is sooooo NICE!!!
**it's SOOOO NICE that after they left i moved it onto my SleepNumber mattress!! Ohhh yes I did!!! I am 67 so the ol' joints are not what they use to be. Gosh this is just amazing!!

We have had a pretty expensive pillow top mattress for several years. Its pillow top is starting to flatten out. Bought this topper to bring back the support and comfort. Have only had a short time but it is just great.
Comes in a big, bulky box that is heavy enough that the UPS folks had a "HEAVY" sticker on the box. In the box, the king size topper would not fit in the trunk of my smallish car. It would have fit without the box. In the box, it barely fit in the front seat of the car. You might think about having it delivered to you home if possible.
It comes wrapped in 2 layers of plastic wrap about the size of 2 good size pillows stacked on top of one another. I opened the wrapping and laid the topper out on the bed. it immediately got about 1 1/2 inches thick. The instructions said it could take 48 hours to reach its full 2 inches and might have a small odor but it was ok to use immediately. Let it sit about 3 hours and then installed and remade the bed. It slept well, not hot and gave great support. Sorry it is just what i wanted and a little better than i even hoped it would be. If it holds up for several years it will be a steal.

I bought an extra firm, high quality mattress and box set which was wonderful until hip issues arose and I ultimately had a hip replacement surgery. Low back discomfort started shortly after the hip healed. My extra firm mattress became uncomfortable. This gel-infused memory foam mattress topper has made a big difference in getting a good night's sleep. I use a plain inexpensive quilted mattress topper on top of it so I really am pampered. It is well worth the bucks. I may order another one and pile it on too. You cannot have too much of a good thing when it comes to your rest and sleep!

My 7-year old daughter gets very hot at night with her foam mattress. She was going so far as to sleep on the floor to avoid being drenched in sweat within minutes of lying down (she gets sweaty!). I was at the point where I was debating buying a new mattress for her when I saw a review that stated how this mattress topper kept them cool. Though it was a little on the pricey side, I decided to give it a go.
IT WORKED!
My daughter is so happy now. Her bed doesn't heat up, and we are BOTH getting more sleep! Worth the money! Plus, her bed is actually much more comfortable overall.

This mattress topping is absolutely amazing in all regards. Thick and sturdy and as comfortable as a dream. A huge plus that it comes with a custom size cover. Most toppers don't come with a cover and you end up having to buy an ill fitting one, as having a cover is a must. Talk about the cover, the material of it is out of this world! Thick and softer than any other covers or sheets I have ever had. The no slip pattern on the back is fantastic - it really keeps the mattress in place. I originally purchased this because I am pregnant and sleeping on my bed was getting very uncomfortable in any position. Also have a back problem on top. This mattress saved my life, no more aches and pains, it is like sleeping on a cloud!

I would have given it a 5 if we didn't have issues with our sheets and mattress cover staying on, even with deep pocket sheets, though it's something we can live with it. Might work better if we took off the mattress cover, but we like the extra fluffiness and we do have a very thick pillow top mattress. Sure not an issue that would keep me from using it.
It did have a slight smell out of the bag, but only lasted for about one day. I sprayed heavily with Febreeze once we laid it out on the mattress and that pretty much got the smell out. But it's not a bad smell. We slept on it the first night.
I really love it since I have rheumatoid arthritis and it gets rid of the pressure points.
Biggest problem is that I don't want to get up in the morning, I've never been like that! I have always had issues tossing and turning trying to get comfortable, but not so much now.
Having the cover already on it when it comes out of the box from shipping was a plus. It too is a nice fabric.
I checked prices and ratings all over the internet for days and found this one to have really good ratings and a great price.
I would suggest it to friends and buy another one in a minute!!

This memory foam is very comfortable if looking to add some cushion to your firm mattress. I think you could even put it on the floor if you had a guest staying over and they would be very comfortable. The problem that I see is that IT IS SO HOT. It has been cold for the winter and I'm still warm. It's weird because the part of my body that is touching the memory foam (ie, my back if laying on my back) would be hot while the part that is not could be cold. As you can imagine, this makes it difficult to get comfortable when there is such a contrast on your body. I can't imagine what it's going to be like during the summer months with this thing. Actually I'm probably not going to find out because I will unfortunately probably remove it before then. Does anyone know how to cool this because if I could get rid of the heat, I may like the product.

While I would not call this a "Cool" pad it is a good, comfortable, mattress topper that is not too hot. As other reviewers have commented there is none of the toxic smell that other toppers are notorious for, and that it comes encased in a decent cover is another plus. I noticed only a faint whiff of odor unpacking the topper and that quickly dispersed. The topper itself took about a day to fully expand and firm up from the packing, but I slept on it the first night and it was fine. Given the reasonable price compared against competitors it definitely merits the full 5 stars.
