I was already impressed, then I saw the app
This product cost a lot of money relative to other, similar products out there so to be worth the money It really had to show up...and show up it did. First, these aren't attached to one of those cheaply made white control boxes, this has a black controller with three buttons, one that turns it on and off, one that changes color, and one that sets it through various music/audio changing options which defaults to red. On the back there's adhesive tape for easy application to the underside of a desk or back of a shelf. The Strip itself has very strong adhesion to whatever you place it on, usually you have to use some extra led strip clips for them to stay, especially on something like bare particle board or very smooth surfaces. The strip is black with a rubber coating over it all to protect it from water but it was far more study then the others I've seen. The led strip is set to 86% brightness when you first turn it on and it over powered all my other led strips at full by a long shot, I was really hoping there would be an adjustment on the app, and of course, there was! Within the app there are a bunch of options, see the pictures for yourself! Brightness, color, audio settings, and even DIY settings. I was very impressed by the amount of customization you can do. To connect all you have to do is download the app, it's called "Groove Home" and then select the item you bought, which will have a picture and a title, then Bluetooth takes over and connects in seconds. I had a lot of fun changing and adjusting the settings to exactly what I wanted and I think you will too.Also funny enough it had a lot more and more noticeable warning labels on the product when you first open the box telling you to not test the lights on the roll or they'd potentially overheat, and also not to cut them. Which isn't something good or bad I just thought I'd mention because it shows that the manufacturer actually cares about the product.Overall, I really enjoyed this product and they definitively showed that the pricing was fair, being a far superior product and recommend this to anyone who wants more then just a solid color strip.
