I purchased this because it was USB activated as opposed to some other strips which required a plug into the wall. So far I've lit up my Jeep quite nicely with this set of LEDs. Having a controller to turn it on and off really helps since sometimes it can be overwhelming to have it on all the time. I mainly use it to impress friends, but other than that I don't really use it too much. One day I will sync it in with a controller to go to the beat of the stereo but that's a ways away for now. I've had this set for over a month now and I can say it's holding up really well. Totally would recommend this if you're looking for something to spice up your vehicle or your home.

This product is a great and affordable way to start your RGB lighting around the home as this one can be controlled with an App and that is very convenient. You can sit or lay down(depending on your setup) and change the colors, turn off the lights if you are trying to sleep or rest and the module that you stick on the back of your tv will sync with the audio or music your listening to. This product does have a USB plug in order to operate it and requires a 5V 2A source, I got lucky my tv has a USB port available.

I'm giving this a 4 star review because it's cool and works well for led lights but does now work with the TV the way I was looking for. The app works well and is easy to connect and use allowing you to use present mods that are cool. I have other led through my house and was looking for an option that worked with Bluetooth. My only two complaints. There is no fade option. Which is my favorite mode to let the lights to. The other is when I connect the light to my USB port in my TV I would like for the colors to reflect the color on the screen. I have seen this build into TV's and thought that what this was.

No clear description on what app to download. Brightness and not all modes are select-able via physical controller.

it was easy to install and you get 3M stick on it but there is no good way to get it 90 degree off (from the left side to the upper side) i think there should have been 90 degrees connectors.
the control is nice bu the app control is much much better, the voice active (for music) is nice but not really according to the music

The items I received was clearly used and repaired poorly.
* parts of the USB cord was covered in sticky stuff
* electrical tape where they repaired it
* End of the strip seemed to be cut poorly

Things not related to the used item I received
* The "upgraded" adhesion is a mess. Made the entire strip "gooey" and not so much sticky.
* 5 min after pressing the strip on the TV, I can already see it peeling where I had to make a 90 degree turn

I am probably going to return this. Sad, I wanted this to work but it seems like they might be shipping returned items.

Not even 24 hours later the strips are falling off.
Returning it and finding another brand.

I love this strip. Easy to install on back of monitor, the app worked easily out of the box. The colors look alright.

My biggest complain is that it doesn't have split strips like some other brands, with connect cables. This would make for much easier corner, especially with them being waterproof (which is POINTLESS for a monitor/TV backlight, why would this get wet?). Therefore the waterproof is only for marketing. It does make the tape STRONGER feeling, but it has more negatives than positives IMO.

That being said I was still able to go around corners on my monitor - however I mounted mine with tape light channel and velcro strips. I really wish it had the split sections though like PANGTON VILLA Strip. (I would have purchased that brand instead but it didn't have iPhone App control)

Overall happy, purchased a second unit for my other monitor, which sadly I paid for 1 day and it did not come for some reason...

UPDATE: I had to knock a star off, once I started messing with colors. I have two of these units..on both ORANGE is yellow/green..nothing close to orange at all. The color reproduction on this unit is quite terrible. Luckily I am using blue and red which look fine..

Da ich keinen Ambilight TV besitze, hatte ich bisher behelfsmäßig LED Stripes von IKEA an der Rückseite meines TVs befestigt. Diese jedoch waren über ein Kabel mit der Fernbedienung befestigt - das ist heutzutage nicht mehr zeitgemäß.
Nach einigem Suchen bin ich dann auf diese hier gestoßen. Neben den Funktionen war auch der gute Preis ein echter Hammer.

Das Pairing über die App via Bluetooth funktioniert super, auch ist die App im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen China-Apps super zu bedienen.
In der App gibt es viele default modi, jedoch kann man auch alles individuell konfigurieren: Helligkeit, Farbe, Farbwechsel etc.
Der Spracherkennungsmodus funktioniert auch top, das Mikrofon ist sehr sensibel.

Das Anbringen der Stripes am TV selbst gestaltet sich durch den 3M Kleber problemlos.

Für den Preis echt spitze!

Sollte Ihnen meine Rezension bei der Entscheidungsfindung geholfen haben, würde ich mich sehr über eine Bewertung freuen.

Facile à installer pour une super ambiance

J'ai acheté ce rouleau de 2 mètres pour faire un petit essai de décoration d'intérieur. Installation facile, on déroule la bande et on colle au fur et à mesure en détachant le ruban adhésif. Une fois l'installation terminée, soit on utilise l'application soit on utilise la télécommande.

Bien que pratique à l'usage, je préviens que l'application demande des autorisations qui n'ont rien à voir avec l'usage du produit (position géographique par exemple...) et qu'elle se connecte via bluetooth.Le changement de couleur et de luminosité ne se fait pas en direct, il faut faire son choix et le valider pour voir le résultat. A noté aussi que le spectre de couleur est assez limité, le rouge, vert et bleu sont présents mais dès qu'on souhaite afficher une couleur qui mélange ces couleurs ça montre vite ses limites (le blanc tire vers le bleu par exemple).

POINTS POSITIFS :
- Facile à installer
- Les LED sont suffisamment lumineuses pour créer une ambiance même dans une pièce éclairée.
- L'application

POINTS NÉGATIFS :
- Spectre de couleur limité.
- Pas d'affichage dynamique du rendu via l'application.
- Demandes d'autorisations d'accès exagérés (app).

(conclusion)
Le produit coûte autour de 15€ pour 2 mètres et pour ce prix la prestation est clairement au rendez-vous. Je ne regrette pas mon achat et envisage même de racheter un rouleau.

Love the product just the apt lets it down for changing the lights but there is a remote on your wires at the tv you lightly stick to your wall So easy enough to change yourself. Lighting is great and you basically keep it on the one colour then change or not. Note the picture the leds haven’t been stuck to the tv so more light coming out top and sides but gives you a idea how bright they are. Buying a strip for my hallway now love these led lights. Can put them anywhere and automatically looks amassing.
