The MITXPC MX500 support Mini-ITX form factor motherboards. The enclosure is designed to fit an optional 80W DC-DC powerboard or a 120W DC-DC powerboard. The enclosure features a variety of mounting options such as VESA screws for mounting to the back of a monitor, wall mounting brackets, or an optional VESA Mounting Bracket for 80mm patterns. The MX500 is ventilated for silent fanless system configurations but can also support four 40mm fans for higher performance system configurations. With three antenna cutouts and a COM port cutout, it is flexible to meet additional attachments.

Best case I have ever used, except for one minor design flaw.

This is an excellent case, all of my components fit neatly into the enclosure, case is quite solid, simple, yet stylish, the LED is nice and dim, and mountings galore. My only complaint is that the HDD mounting bracket is dangerously close to the heatsink, which I worry would cause heat issues with the hard drive.

Works perfect with NVIDIA Jetson TX1

I bought this case for my Jetson TX1. My TX1 fits in this case perfectly. It also has enough space and a nice mounting bracket for a 2.5" SSD. The power button and the power LED both work with the pins on my TX1. The downside is that this case does not have a reset button and also the front USB connectors won't work with the TX1.

Now all I need is a proper backplate I/O shield and my TX1 would be trade-show worthy!

Wifi cutout? What wifi cutout

Case is bigger than needed for a mini itx? The extra room on the size maybe for tugging some extra cables? Not sure if micro atx will fit in this case.

I could not remove the cut-out for the wifi. Do i have to drill it? What's the point of having the cut-out and can't even make the holes. I dented it usinng a hammer but not coming off.

I had to leave off the top and cut some metal to get my half height NIC in but this would be perfect for a router build if you have one of those Asrock dual lan ITX motherboards. I might just buy another and get a new motherboard. Good build quality, nice finish and power button.

Thin Haswell coolers with the copper contact plate will fit under the lid, without the 2.5" bracket. Said bracket is only compatible with the slimmest of slim coolers. Be careful knocking out the power jack hole. I didn't realize I'd bent the entire rear panel in a bit until it was time to mount the motherboard.
