On October 29, 2013, Capcom released two fan arrangement albums of music from their Mega Man franchise: For Everlasting Peace: 25 Years of Mega Man, and this album MM25: Mega Man Rocks. The album consists of 18 tracks covering music from the original Mega Man and Mega Man X series all performed by various Mega Man-themed artists/groups such as: Armcannon, Mega Ran, The Megas, Bit Brigade, The X-Hunters, and The Protomen. Whether it's the instrumental performances of Armcannon, X-Hunters, and Bit Brigade; the vocal arrangements of Mega Ran and The Megas; or the original Mega Man-themed performances of The Protomen, there is something for every Mega Man fan in this album. Check out this album, and if you like what you hear, go support the featured artists as well.

I bought this album based on the fact that it has 3 tracks from The Protomen (who are amazing), and I am pleasantly surprised by everything else. The rap tracks are easily the weakest (sorry, Mega Ran), but even they have their charm. Most of the songs either sample in-game music, or are inspired by it; The Protomen bring updated versions of two songs from their second Mega Man inspired rock opera album, and a new track just released here. They are easily the highlight of the album, followed closely by some incredible songs from The Megas -- 'Man on Fire' is currently my favorite song ever, and I look forward to checking out more from them.

Having been a long time fan of The Protomen, and The Megas, and having seen many of the artists featured on this album in concert (The Protomen, The Megas, Bit Brigade, and Mega Ran...) I was excited when I heard that they would all be on one commemorative album. And, I must say, I am not disappointed at all.

This is a great way to experience the music of many groups, especially if you have only heard of one or two of them. Definitely check out the whole album!

Awesome songs from The Megas and The Protomen while some of the others fall off a bit. I was never a fan of Mega Ran, but his Splash Woman song is alright and I do enjoy pretty much everything else on this album. It's also the only place to get Built to Last, so there's that.

The music on this album is good and has a lot of variety. A lot of really good artists composed the tracks for this album and you can really tell they put their all into it. The Megas remixes are especially nice as are the song "Wily"

This is a fantastic album. Even if you are only a little but into Megaman all the tracks are absolutely outstanding. If you haven't really seen the Megaman music scene and aren't familiar with some of the names like Mega Ran, The Megas, etc. this is a good sampler album to introduce you to a lot of these names with some awesome tracks.

Would have given it a 5 out of 5, but a few of the songs don't seem to be remixes, such as can't stop the top
