A tiny powerhouse! Awesome buy!

This curling iron/ straightener combo is fantastic! Initially I was skeptical due to the small size but after giving it a shot am quite pleased. I have thick, long hair with a funky wave (not curly, more unruly...my mom used to say horse hair). I have been used to buying high heat hair tools that go up to 450 degrees F to manage it. However, this little wonder really did the job in a little less time with better results. As I’m trying to grow out my hair to donate, it has to be one length. Unfortunately, b/c it’s so thick and heavy it loses curl very quickly. But not with this combo tool. Even though the temp is only about 420F, the plates glide easily over my hair making it smooth. The barrel is the perfect size for me to get well formed curls that last. In fact, I have put away my full sized curling iron and flatiron because this one works so well. I plan to buy another one to keep in my travel bag and a couple for gifts. The only minor downside is the cord is a little shorter than I prefer but an extension or power strip is an easy fix. I would suggest holding the tip together when using straightener function to allow larger sections to be processed well. Also, avoid the other brand listed that looks similar (same color scheme- stars w/ a J., slightly more expensive). I bought this brand thinking it might be even better than the Mocreo since it was more expensive and it was not! My hair did not easily slide through the plates and the temp was not hot enough- the J. brand is a cheap knock off of Mocreo. (See pics- 1st one is after i just used blow dryer. 2nd is following use of flatiron. 3rd is after use of curling iron. 4th- the Mocreo is on the left and has taken over the job of my full sized tools)
