We love playing monopoly but my younger kids struggled with counting large bills. As soon as a saw this version I knew I had to get it! My 4 year old and 5 year old love playing this version because they feel independent playing. Instead of money bills like the original game there are gold coins. There are also character coins instead of houses to help them keep track of their properties they have purchased. The dice comes with a regular die and a coin/shell die. If they land on the coin they get to press the coin button to allow them to get free coins from the bank. If they land on the shell they get nothing. There is a Time Out area rather than a Jail Cell. And they collect coins every time you pass the Go spot. Great Christmas gift to learn counting, addition and subtraction for the little ones.
