This bar is nice and sturdy, doesn’t bend like the one I bought at big box store when extra hard whacks necessary; however, the padding which touches the floor are so thin that they do nothing for protection for the new floor you are installing. Bought some felt pads and stuck them to the surface (round felt dots I put on see pic) - problem solved, Attn manufacturer include a few of these!
