This is a very good photo frame. The photo resolution is crisp and clean. Unlike my Nix brand frame, the MRQ will display photos I have downloaded from the internet at full size. The Nix would only display these downloads as small 2"X2" unless I used the "Optimize" setting, but then regular full size photos would be optimized (cropped) not displaying the full photo. The MRQ does not resize regular photos. The MRQ is quirky about orienting (auto rotate) vertical photos. Some will be correctly oriented, but others will be displayed sideways.

This is NOT correct. There is a 1 minute option, but the next one up is 15 minutes. Also, I would have rated the frame 5 stars if not for the "motion" function. I set it for 5 minutes, the highest choice. The frame shuts down after 5 minutes of no motion, but when it comes back on the "menu" screen is displayed, not photos. I would have liked a 15 minute option, but going to the menu after motion is detected is VERY disappointing.
My Nix screen lasted about three years before failing. It was much larger. I choose the MRQ but did not select a larger size which comes with a larger price. If all electronic frame brands have a similar limited lifetime I have to choose wisely. Overall I am satisfied.

Good display and not too small for a digital frame

We got this digital picture frame on a lightning deal and are very happy with the price we paid for it. It cost about as much as most 7 inch picture frames cost as the final price. The 10.1 inch screen is a good size. It has a really sharp and clear screen and is bright enough to see without issues. It turned on quickly and responds rapidly to commands from the remote. We had no issues using a 128gb SD card in it. We plugged it in and the images started displaying immediately in slideshow format. It was not difficult to set the correct date and time for it. We haven't used it for other features though I think we may have some videos we took on it as well.This frame does not have onboard memory for image storage and requires either USB or SD Card memory to be installed. This frame does not have onboard memory for image storage and requires either USB or SD Card memory to be installed. There is no wifi feature for internet or locally shared image folders either. The lack of these features probably accounts for the really good price we paid for it. Obviously, money would have to be spent on memory in some format but we already had an extra SD card to work with so it doesn't factor into our cost.
I would recommend this frame to someone looking for a high quality frame to display family or vacation photos, but doesn't feel it is necessary to have wifi on the frame and has an extra SD card or a good size USB drive to use with the frame or doesn't mind the additional cost of one of those devices.
As a side note, my wife loved the messaging on the box.
