Save a lot CYBER MONDAY is lit!!!
Let me tell you the story about how I bought this item, so December 2 Monday morning got to wake up early at 5 am to get to work and I know it is Cyber Monday so, got to check amazon for cheap components because I have been planning to build my own system unit a long time ago. So, the right time at the right moment I am so amazingly shock to what I have seen last Cyber Monday deal 514 effing dollars for bundled of 3 on the item Ryzen 7 3800x, Samsung 500gb NVME M.2 ssd 970 evo plus and the last one my wishlist mobo which I'm eyeing for a long time the mpg x570 gaming pro carbon wifi, let me break it down for you how much I save for the three of them, so the price of processor on my invoice is 271.42 dollars tax already included, for the SSD it cost me 82.24 dollars tax also included, and the last one my first mobo the MPG x570 gaming PRO Carbon Wifi it cost me 197.38 so in total 550.24 for all of it with tax already included. Just search the real price now how much I had saved. For the specification of the MSI MPG x570 moboI like the bios it is very user interactive it is easy to understand.I also like how the headers, pins and etc, where place it is amazingly right on my case.I also like the EZ led debug I encountered a scenario which I place the Graphic Card on PCIE second slot and not intently but I had blocked the chipset frozer fan which causes it to not spin, but the mobo led debug turns red and that warns me in advance that there is something wrong with what I have done so I check and found the error I made and another scenario which is about the RAM slot I had put it to second DIMM slot, yeah it will turn on but optimization to RAM won't work properly because I did not put it on the first DIMM slot so I reinput it thanks to the EZ led debug nice one for that MSI.the second one I like is the built-in wifi and Bluetooth the range is pretty dang good honestly, but just a suggestion don't ever play while the bluetooth is on it will interupt your connection, It won't disconnect the wifi but you will feel a little lag.Ah what else let me think,You know what it is all good so buy it don't ever think of negative review it is good mark my words, this is my first time building so I can't really provide the much more technical review I'm still learning and still figuring it out. You can check MSI official website for some technical specifications.ConsThere is just one thing that annoys me about the position of 8 pin CPU power, I put a really hard effort just to insert the pin connector on top the motherboard and it is not wise for cabling management I don't really know if it's just me or It can be placed near the 24 pin connector just saying, all right but other than that everything is good.

The layout of the board is fairly well designed for my purposes. All of the cooling features (M.2 heatsink, chipset fan, etc) have (so far) performed to expectation and I have not seen any overheating. Time will tell as game specifications continue to rise. Placement of the M2. slots and PCIe x16 slots was sufficient for my setup running multiple GPUs. I had a brief discussion with Tech Support, who were able to help me out with a question I had (read: "idiot's moment") while remaining polite.

I have not tested the overclocking functionality of the system, yet.

The one irritation that I have run into, so far, with this product is in the registration. Registration of the product requires a number only found on a sticker on the motherboard itself (specifically, on the motherboard power connector). I found that it was not easy to read once the computer had been put together in my case (although I finally managed it without too much disassembly). I would suggest that you take a picture of this sticker (or register the product) prior to installation to ease this process.

The first thing that I did when I got this system built was boot into the BIOS. I was thoroughly impressed by the features offered. It includes charting to monitor the temperature over time as well as to control the fans. It also includes a visual layout of the board with detected hardware.

I'm running Linux as the primary operating system. Most of the mainstream/user-friendly Linux distributions (as of this writing) use an older Linux kernel which will not support the wireless drivers out of the box. Aside from this, the system was very easy to set up and work out of the box. I'm still in the process of setting up all of the virtualized systems, but have not run into any hardware related problems to this point. I have even been able to get the main GPU passed through to a Windows system for gaming, though that more advanced use took some work.

Recently I tasked myself with building a new PC. After doing many hours of research on what case, ram, CPU, and of course motherboard, I had concluded that I wanted to get the Ryzen 7 3700x CPU which meant that I needed to change my plan on the motherboard I got. I ultimately chose this one because I thought that for all the features, build quality, design, and overall ease of use that this was the one for me. I thought for the price it was worth it. It had everything I wanted and then some.
I appreciate that the guard is pre-installed and another huge plus is that CPU mount came pre-installed as well which for my CPU fan was a quick and relatively easy install. This was my first time building my computer and I had so much fun.
The motherboard is as durable as motherboards get and look super slick especially once you get it hooked up and running with the built-in RGB lights.
It also came with all cables and accessories that were advertised and arrived in its original sealed and undamaged box. The price point for me at least is in the sweet spot of quality and price. You get tremendous quality at just the right price.
I do think that MSI needs to make it simpler to find an RGB controller for the RGB lights on the motherboard. It took a little bit of research to find it. Anyone interested in it just goes to google and search for MSI Dragon Center.
Finally, I thought that as far as BIOS goes this one was superb. Having an option to switch between easy and advanced made it much more pleasant diving into the BIOS.
I have one final flaw and that is when I inserted my 2 RAM sticks I was told it was best to place one stick in the second slot from the left and the other in the fourth slot or on the far right. Don't know why it's like that but it is. At least they show you a graphic that shows which one needs to be moved and which slot to move it to. It was an easy fix.
As I said this was my first time building a PC so I am by no means an expert, but given the motherboard didn't complicate any part of the build process or set up of my new PC I would recommend this one to anyone that buys a Ryzen 7.

MSI makes great parts. This motherboard has many fan connectors and also connectors for liquid cooling units and such. Has the spots on motherboard to plug in fans that light up and also my MSI liquid unit I used, fit perfectly with the mainboard. It has generation 4 m.2 Nvme drives. Spots for 2 nvme drives. This is one of the best AM4 motherboards your going to find and MSI has the x570 Carbon priced very well for the value. The board also has digital real time temperature display on the board itself which is neat. I like to be able to turn my head and see the temp of my CPU. If your building a computer, I highly recommend this board. Also... I was able to use my old hard drive in my new build. My old Nvme drive with windows 11 works perfect!!! I didn't even have to re format or anything. This is the best motherboard I've ever had the pleasure of installing!!! EASY TO OVERCLOCK. Took my memory from 2667 to 3200mhz to reach coupled mode with AMD CPU infinity fabric is apparently set at 3200 mhz with the Ryzen 5000 series which is freakin fast as hell. You can tweak pretty much everything in the BIOS. Damn this is a good motherboard. I ended up running my memory at 3600 mhz. 4000 mhz was stable for a while but with the Gskill Trident memory I purchased it's easy to under or overclock. I recommend 3600 mhz with 5000 series CPU's.

My B550 board died recently (ASUS) and I decided to replace it with a decent X570S board. I need 3 NVME drive slots, this board has 4 of those. Apart from that, the VRM is decent, the chipset cooling is well designed. Cherry on top: All NVME slots have a heatsink!

I bought this board as "used" from Amazon for two hundred bucks, it totally worth that price. I will keep my AM4 system alive as much as possible, as I really dislike the DDR5 boot times and other issues.

Motherboard has 4 M.2 ports, and excellent power delivery. Very good for AM4 systems if you still have a high performance CPU and no motherboard.

As the previous review stated, mine also arrived damaged due to being shipped in its own box with zero protection and getting tossed around like a sack of potatoes. The IO plate was fully bent. Factory seal was intact as well as accessories, so this was caused by shoddy handling.

Would recommend this motherboard, as long as you receive it undamaged. Else, look for a local source. Thankfully the support team was understanding enough to create a return, so 5 stars for Amazon service, zero for the rest of the experience.
