I am very pleased with the cards performance. I have paired this with a 21:9 1440p 100hz 34 inch monitor and it is running fantastic. It is very quiet and still runs very cool. I was also able to overclock the memory to 935 hz boosting performance by around 5% without touching anything else. Fits perfect in my smaller Fractal Design Define C case with the Nactua Nh-15 CPU cooler. Paired with the Ryzen 3600 this computer is a beast.

Necesita más optimización de drivers pero trabaja perfecto y sus temperatura van 70c a 75c. En los juegos van a veloz y 1440p va muy fluido. Tuve nvidia 2070 super pero en juegos se me apagaba con fuente nueva 750 watts. Y eran los driver de nvidia aún desactivando en Windows el resetting automatically. En este msi rx 5700xt. El under clock. No vale hacerlo pq aun Los Los Driver no estan para eso solo automatically y listo. Para su función. Los ventiladores van muy bn refresca la tarjeta suficiente que la mantiene a 65c. No hagan overclock que ya esta trabaja a 1925mhz. Para su rendiemiento va muy bien. Comparada a nvidia 2070 super esta va casi pareto en rendiemiento. Claro nvidia va a 1770 mph boost clock. Pero no hay preferencia solo raytracing esta muy poco juego lo soportan. En amd a futuro usaran nuevos driver para esta adaptation y no seria impactante a lado de nvidia que baja sus fps. A 50 a 60. Y su parte termico en memoria es corta osea en buen tiempo tendrías una mala disipación.

I have no idea what Gamers Nexus were thinking when they gave this card the Most Average card award. First of all it's gorgeous with it's beastly mass and RGB light ( and huge )... but the card doesn't sag down at all and look ridiculous like most large cards.

Secondly, this card is basically silent. Running 3D Mark, GPU core temp hovers around 67, junction never seen above 82. The only cooling I have are 3 Corsair RGB fans in the front). Haven't seen fan speed go above 1300 RPM. Under 60 fans shut off entirely. There is also virtually no coil whine whatsoever, the most faintest buzzing can be heard, but it is just barely audible, and this is only during gaming.

My last card the 5700 XT Mech was really rough out of the box, the fan literally sounded like a hair dryer and it got HOT. Stay away from that card. I guess it can be tweaked some to fix some issues but I don't want to have to tweak something I want it to be amazing out of the box, and this Gaming X card is.

Both the Mech card and a 2060 Super I had had seriously bad coil whine. This Gaming X is hugely better. I am honestly blown away by the quality and performance of this card in every possible way.

Hats off to MSI for engineering such a badass card. Did not like the Mech variant though. Highly recommend this one.

When I bought this in late 2019 I got it for about $410, nice to see the price drop slightly. Overall I love the card, it's a great bang for the buck purchase compared to the 2000 series from Nvidia. I play some pretty GPU intensive games like RDR2, Destiny 2 cranked up all the way, GTA V, and the card handled them all at roughly 60 fps near max settings on a 1440p 1ms monitor. The card does get pretty hot, so you'll want to go into the Adrenaline software and customize the fan curve to be more aggressively ramped. The fans do sound like a slightly muted hairdryer at full blast, which is my only complaint. Otherwise I love the thing and think it's a fantastic value, however if you're reading this in September (or later) 2020 DON'T buy this card right now. PLEASE wait until Nvidia has released the RTX 3000 series and AMD has released the 6000 series ("Big Navi"), as these lineups will likely have cards at a similar price point that can run rings around the 5700 XT (at the moment, head over and check out the RTX 3070). That's not to say the 5700 XT isn't still a great piece of kit, but very soon generational updates will be coming out from both companies and you may be able to get more for your money. Couldn't be happier, the most taxing games I've got is Metro Exodus, COD Warzone, and Beam NG, all on ultra settings I can hold a solid 100fps on a 1080p@65HZ monitor with V sync off. Turning it on gives a great game play and yes with some work you can in fact Ray Trace within the software but it takes a lot of FPS to achieve it. I wanted a 1440P@120hz card for the future and testing that on my tv with high graphic settings will hold about 85-100 in most areas of the games. Depending on what settings are on you can get it higher but this meets my goals personally as ill be stuck with 1080 for at least the next year. Either way very happy, this 5700XT equates my buddy's 1080TI in the games we play together. I haven't tried overclocking above MSI's settings yet but I'm sure it can be improved even more. This card will get warm, I suggestion changing the fan control settings to keep the fans on and moving air constantly so you don't get a stagnant air pocket around the card or worse...heat-soak. If its hot and you get a sudden demand you can thermal throttle quickly but also shorten the component life. Eventually I may water cool it but top temps I've seen with a custom fan control us like 68*C under load and 34*C at idle, where stock I noticed 80* and idle would hang around 60*. Take some time to adjust and performance will be better. I couldn't imagine the AMD stock blower cooler on this... the dual fan and shroud MSI built is a great design overall, very impressed but make sure you measure your case!!! This is a big boy card!!! Your not gonna fit this in your MATX HP pavilion without hacking the case.

I got this on Amazon Warehouse Deals for a great price. The card fans were a bit "whiny" at first but then they settled in and are now okay. I set a fan curve using MSI Afterburner and now it seems to run silent on idle. It's not the newest generation card, but it is what was available. I'm glad I purchased it when I could get it. It can run Cyberpunk 2077 on 1440p Ultrawide at about 60FPS on medium settings which is decent for that resolution. The card is really big and heavy with a 3 year warranty. It's really solid. It runs a little hot but nothing to worry about. I'm getting well over 100FPS on some games and that's on the ultrawide. Very pleased!

Appena arrivata l'ho montata immediatamente e subito provata. Dapprima si nota l'insuperabile velocità per la sua categoria, in molti giochi rende più di una RTX 2060 Ti costando almeno 100 euro di meno (prezzi settembre 2020).
Forse leggermente rumorosa nelle prolungate sessioni di gioco. Le ventole toccano i 2800 giri/minuto con temperature che arrivano facilmente ad 80° C (la sua temperatura d'esercizio). La uso prevalentemente con simulatori di volo di vario tipo è mi sta dando grosse soddisfazioni in Full HD. al momento la uso con un monitor 24" perciò non mi spingo oltre. In questa modalità gli FPS rimbalzano trai 45 e 55. Niente male.

Loud and Hot; Need multiple case fans to stay cool

August 7, 2020 EDIT: I have sold this card and got a Saphire Pulse RX 5700 XT instead. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more on Sapphire Pulse RX 5700 XT (or something other than MSI). It's MUCH MUCH cooler and barely makes any noise.

I have been using this card for the past 4 months. Initially, I had some issues with black screens, etc. but the latest drivers seem to have fixed the problem and the card works great.

As for the card itself, it runs VERY hot even with mediocre load. If you plan to play the latest AAA games on max settings, get ready for this card to consistently hit 80-85c with loud 2000-2600 RPM fan speeds. When I initially bought this card, I was getting 88c (edge) temps with 105c junction temps. Was able to reduce it by installing multiple high RPM case fans which cooled it down a little bit (only 3-5c difference unfortunately).

Otherwise, this is a great card if you want to do 1080p 144hz or 1440p 60fps on latest AAA games with ULTRA setting

Most recent games run at absolute max at 60fps with no lag. Fans come on when the card gets hot but not frequently. If you game with headphones or have the speaker loud you may not notice the fans at all.

Finding the drivers was a pain in the ass, due to poor site design on MSI's part but once we solved their maze of links installation was simple and effective.

Pretty enormous card but fit fine in a normal-sized case.

Vendor shipped quicky and card arrived safe and sound in short order.

Good GPU, bad cooling. It is around 45-50 degrees Celsius when idle and can easily reach 80 degrees Celsius "Current Temperature" and 100 degrees Celsius "Junction Temperature" on load according to Global WattMan. I had to cap FPS and reduce resolution in certain games or I would have had to deal with a 2000-2500 RPM loud fans non stop. Performance wise it runs as expected from online benchmarks. Don't buy if you can't support loud fans.
